Rick, I don't have an X1 version, but I have several composite, not poly, M2/S3 style rears for the aluminum style swing arm. I'm sure I can come up with a well nut for it also. Kevin |

Let me know if you come across a 16.5" shock and I'll get my old X1W back on the road again. (Message edited by SteveFord on June 03, 2017) |

Steve, I don't believe there is s 16.5" version of the later shock. You can swap out the front mount and use the stouter 14.5" unit. Kevin |

Son of a gun, you're right. That'll teach me not to get under the bike with a tape measure. If the shock is in good shape and you still have it, send me an email. Buell1200x5@yahoo.com and I'll get the X1W out on the road again where it belongs. I went to a bike meet today in Ephrata and out of thousands of bikes there wasn't ONE tube framed Buell. Maybe I need to class the place up a bit next time. |
