Mexico giving them a trial (and being proactive about illegals hemorrhaging across our borders) will come down to diplomacy and politics between the two governments. I know. Scary thought. BUT. It has to happen for there to be any sort of progress. If they're in jail in the US, they're still living off the US' teat. WE are paying for their housing. WE are paying for their food. WE are paying for their upkeep. And they've never paid a penny of taxes or contributed a damn thing to our country other than raping a 14 year old girl once they arrived illegally and started using OUR tax dollars to attend OUR public schools. Our immigration policies are the laughing stock of the world. We need to grow a pair. And if we come to a diplomatic solution with the Mexican government making it even less appealing for Mexicans to get sent home and tried there...*maybe* they'll think twice before trying to skate into the US and live illegally in the first place. Don't get me wrong - if they want to emigrate LEGALLY, I'm all for it. But if they want to reap the benefits of living in the US, they have to do the work to become a LEGAL US CITIZEN. And contribute - and live by the same laws and rules - as the rest of us. I don't want to close the borders...but we need to start locking the door so only people with the right keys can get in. | ||

Not to mention the kitchen. I can't imagine eating food there ever again. One really puzzling thing I can't really understand is why the girl driving was charged with murder?? Sure she's guilty of attempted robbery and perhaps late library cards but how is she the murderer of these three losers? | ||

In several states, if you commit a crime, and one of your co-criminals dies, you can be charged with murder, since your premeditated actions created the situation that led to the death. | ||

Hoot has it right. I think it's the Felony Accomplice Law. If you contributed to the planning or support of a felony, even though you may not have executed the action, you're held for everything that happened during the crime. So, yeah, I bet she wasn't expecting that. | ||

Going back to our roundfaced getaway driver above, it has come out that she knew the defender/residence by name and actually planned this idiocy. Once she heard shots, she screwed too. Might have been able to get one to a hospital fast if she stayed. So yeah, I can see some shade of murder there. | ||

That's not quite true... But not completely wrong either. In any event, Bill Clinton had the Inventory that Hans Blix & the UN inspectors made. Then Bill got the inspectors kicked out, partly because he was a big mouth and would spill secret stuff to make himself seem "cooler". This habit of his got a LOT of people killed when spy networks were compromised by his big mouth. So Bill & Hill both KNEW Saddam had poison gas. And how many thousands of tons he at least had. ( and an unknown amount hidden ) Both KNEW he had bought huge amounts of uranium ore to make bombs. Both KNEW he had a temporarily suspended chemical and biological warfare program. I had a nice chat with a fellow in the intel business who was furious with Bill Clinton. Bill had bragged we listened to Saddam's phone calls. and Saddam quit making them and went to couriers. This fellow told me that Saddam would call his Mother every night and tell her how the Jihad was going. And we heard every word. Then Bill decided he wanted to seem like a big man and told the world, and the enemy, that we tapped their phone. If he wasn't President, he would have been executed for treason after a very quiet trial. Many think he should have been even though he technically didn't break the law. Need I point out that September 2001 was AFTER Bill Clinton screwed us all? | ||
