Author Message   Ronvc Posted on Friday, February 03, 2017 - 12:48 pm:        Looking to trade my Buell X1 for a cruiser.. Harley only.. For the most part this bike has been great.. I changed a bunch of gaskets last year so she leaks no more.. The only issue I have with her is the exhaust.. It has two cracks and because of that I have not used it.. I fear if I do it's just going to make it worse.. She has always ran great for me and issue free.. As of now I'm looking for a trade.. If it doesn't work out that way I might part her out and use the engine in a Sportster. I'm located around Tampa (Dover FL) Due to the exhaust I won't ride it.. If you're local and want to deal I can help with the transport via trailer.. Over all condition is real good.. She's not beat up and has spent life in a garage up until last year when I moved.. She has around 45k miles. I've looked at your bike several times when searching for a Buell, but passed. The pictures don't flatter it. Looks like it sits outside and you took pictures in the morning when the FL condensation is on everything here. Anything that sits outside in FL gets destroyed. I'd clean her up and take nicer pictures straight on without her dripping wet, LOL! No price and no lower red stripe lower chin. I'm in St. Augustine. I see people asking crazy money for Buells,, 5, 6k for a 96, 98.. I'm looking for a trade that has a value under 3k.. Doesn't really matter at this point.
