I would not simply do a led bulb. Not alot of room behind and they are or can be trouble some with heat sinks etc. I would get a full sealed light like JWSpeaker
Or Trucklite.

I am not 100% positive that the 2001 M2 and X1 have the same size headlamp.

I'm 100% positive that they are NOT the same size.

S1/X1 were bigger than M2,

I tried an HD daylighter a buddy had, it was bright but would fit on my X1. Its some funky bosch/bmw looking bulb. Bigger than 7"s. And yes most led bulbs are not fun to fit in the housing because of fans and sinks and such. Anyone have aux lights on their tuber?

Edit about the HD daylighter wouldn't fit the x1.

I do have an M2 bucket that we could check for fit to the X1. I am at a lacrosse tournament all day today and painting the field tomorrow early afternoon. How about around 4 pm Sunday?
