That is one of the best customized Buell motorcycles that I've ever seen! |

thanks all. Ken- Thats an EBR ZTL2 cooling brake duct. Still debating about keeping it. All still debating on the Ulysses rear front fender. They are both growing on me, but may be taken off. |

If you keep the ducts use a full fender maybe? The two together currently IMO dont fit right. But as always your bike is smazing |

The bike is amazing and I love the duct. The air duct is perhaps, as the ZTL rotor and FIF was to Buell, one of the signature engineering accomplishments of EBR. I just ordered one for the mantle. . . . I love the wire wheels. |

thanks all- Ken, you are right about the fender and duct... they kind of dont go together. I did have no fender on the bike for a while and liked that. Then i ordered a MDI carbon XB front fender but it was horrible so i sent it back. I also have a set of STT fork guards i my try... if not ill probably just run a black front fender. I want to be able to swap out different tank colors without having to worry about a front fender all the time. So far i have 6 tank covers |

I went with an un painted XB fender and shined it up that way its black but no worry about Scratches and nicks. I had also went with out till I was stuck in the rain. (Message edited by S1owner on February 13, 2017) |

I actually like the look of the duct and the fender you have on there. I think when you look at it from the side the top duct lines up really well with the one part of the fender. I've seen plenty of bikes with no front fender, and as good as some of them look, I used to have a supermoto that just had that front duckbill fender, and remember how old it got getting sprayed in the face every time I rode through a puddle. Combine that with the water that gets thrown at the back of your neck on the XBS and the S1, and I'd just be soaked all over. |
