... It was an "R". I stopped and talked to the guy. I forgot to tell him about the badweb though. I think I'm going to go for something like the old Gulf GT-40 scheme... |

Brad, Where's your hood? A group of 50+ HD/Buell riders from IL-HD went for a ride last night. Left Berwyn, route 6 to 104th ave, south west suburbs, ended up at Harlem & 87th (Koozy's). Is that what you stumbled across? (or were you actually part of the group and I just didn't see ya!) |

Go old school. I've got the only red with white Buell S2 in my hood. S2 's RULE! |

D'nut, Too bad, I got my bike painted last week. Red and white, just like yours. Actually, I want to paint it Lake Placid Blue. The same color as my first Fender Stratocaster. Talk about awesome. JT |

One way to customize the XB is to take a long ride through a swarm of bugs. Butterflies work best, I have found on rides to Sacramento. |

Yea, I customized my S2 with mass quantities of bugs this past weekend.

ford gt-40 would be great!!!!! so would Gurney's AAR paint (always thought it would be a natural on a Buell, but Ducati's using it on Monsters these days) |

Midknyte, Let's see...that puts you in Lindenhurst or Lake Villa, right? I find my way up there often enough. Email me if you want to ride some time. Illinois HD/Buell sponsors a ride the last Wednesday of every month, departing dealer at 8:00. Like me, you could blow up I-294 to get home after the ride (which generally, sticks closer to greater Chicago metro area). |

Good ole Round lake, when I worked in Libertyville we called it "home of the unwed mothers" Is dumpy assed Kristoffs still in business? |

Hehe, sounds like I gotta get out more I've only been here about 4 years but the town is sorta booming. LOTS of new construction. Kristoffs still in biz and had a facelift recently - haven't run the kids by lately to see if / what they've done inside. It's a nice place now to dissappear. I came from Rockford (er, hell). When my oldest was to enter school, it really lit a fire under my butt & we got out of there.
