Yep, t-shirt #6 is still available, good score!
SPLASH has to be one of the longest-running "Buell" rides around (the last time I did SPLASH I was on my VFR, I believe).
One of these years Denise and I plan on heading back to the West Coast and taking in some of our old haunts. It'd be fun to show her the original SPLASH route (and hopefully there are no blizzards on the backside of the volcano this time!)
Before you PayPal the $ for the shirt, I've got an extra, "leftover" award/plaque from the inaugural SPLASH ride that I've kept all these years; it's pristine. Might you be interested in it? I'll post up some pix tonight after w*rk, and if you want it we can negotiate a price and I'll mail the shirt and the plaque at the same time. Sound OK?

I've got an extra, "leftover" award/plaque from the inaugural SPLASH ride...
Here 'tis:
It has a pristine glossy finish, but as you can see the blue color isn't correct on the plaque (and the red is a teeny bit pinkish) as compared to the shirt...
...which is why I have the plaque in the first place - rather than toss it, the folks who made the trophies for the gig asked if I'd like to keep it instead.

We abandoned St. Helen's several years ago due to the poor condition of the roads. Hubbed out of Bend for several "SPLASH" rides, then Baker City, Wa, then Moscow, Idaho (which is where it'll be this year.)California next year.
It's also grown in time-span from a weekend event to a week or so, including travel time for most of us. We usually do ride the back-side of St. Helen's on the way down, but carefully.
There's still a few in the group that have a Buell in the garage but they usually bring something else. As, in fact, I did the last time to SPLASH. We're back on an S2 again for this year's though.

Cheddarheads4erik/Todd: I mailed your shirt on 1/4, and of all crazy things USPS tracking says it just arrived in Minneapolis - ?? As coincidence would have it, at the same time I mailed your shirt on Wednesday I also mailed an item to Boardtracker H-D, also in Janesville, and according to USPS tracking they rec'd it this morning. How bizarre, how bizarre.
I'll PM the tracking number of your shirt to you, and we can both keep an eye on its progress. I can't even begin to imagine why it has to route through Minnesota to get from Virginia to Wisconsin...
