I placed a order and this is the response I received. (We placed the order and Harley-Davidson has back ordered (8) F0101.1AM valve seal , no release date yet. (3) F0140.1AM intake valve, no release date yet.) Dose this mean that they are out of these items in their inventory? |

This hopefully means they haven't received a date from the supplier when they will be able to get them the parts. I've seen this take a few days and 3-4 months. |

The only thing I need is the intake valves. Are the valves on the EBR 1190 engines, the same as the 1125R? |

I know for sure the 1190 valves are different that they are titanium. I'm not sure if they are the same size and whatnot, I'd contact EBR and see what they say, they may even have 1125 valves laying around. |

Nuts4mc, that is who I ordered my parts from. They are very good to deal with, IMO. |

PM Lance at St. Paul HD/B(651lance above). He has one of the best inventories of Buell stuff. Very good to deal with too... Z |

I looked up the parts this morning and HD post both of them as "pending obsolete". Most of the time this means once they run out they will no longer be supplying them any more. They don't show them on back order at this time so we might just be waiting for them to mark the obsolete. I looked and no other dealers are showing them in inventory and HD is closed today so I can't talk to them direct. I think have a set of seals at home if we can find the valves. |

651lance, Thank you for taking the time to find out what's going on! I have found the seals in the gasket kit I bought from you, I ordered new ones because I forgot the kit comes with them (oops). The intake valves is what I really need! I will call EBR to see if they may have some laying around, per Froggy's advice. I guess we are at the point where HD is running out of parts for our bikes. |

one of the question I can answer is would the valves from one of the Aprilia's, Can Am's, or KTM's work? |

Maybe it's time to contact the Rotax company!? https://www.rotax.com/en/ |

Good luck with that. According to Court, Erik bought everything from Rotax, basically removing them from the loop. The line I remember was something to the effect that there was nothing in Austria with the name Buell or H-D. Z |

You *might* be able to use 1190 valves, some machining would be required though. I've asked for specs to find out exactly what's different. |

I talked to EBR and they claim that the 1190 vale would require a lot of machining to get them to work. They also claim that the 1125 valves are unique to the 1125 engine. I have a call out to one of the valve suppliers seeing if they can help. |

I talk to HD and the F0140.1AM will roll to obsolete this week, that's what I was told. |

Bummer! I guess the news is bad for me. Again I appreciate your help Lance on getting the info! Out of the four intake valves I ordered, three are on back order and now will be obsolete. I guess it is time to buy up all those old heads on eBay! |

The valves were made by Del West. Try contacting them. |

Just a pipe dream, but it would be nice to have a list of all of the parts for the 1190 that will fit on the ll25R. |

If all else falls through, several of the performance valve manufacturers (Manley for example) will custom make valves to order. It's even possible that the 1125 valves are at least close to something else, so it might be possible to do minor modifications to an off-the-shelf valve to make it work. |

Good news! I reached out to Twin Motorcycles, and they said that they can still get the intake valves from their suppliers! |

I talked to Del West today and they MIGHT have valves in stock. They don't know the fitment of their part numbers just the spec of the valve. If you can get me the overall length, stem diameter, and the head size of your intake valves in MM we can start with comparing them. |

Up-date. HD had some vales come in to fill Willmrx order and a few extra. They are now obsolete and are no longer available from HD. I ordered in the remaining valves for stock. Del West only make the valves for the 1190 motor in titanium and they don't make any in steel for any motor. I contacted Kibblewhite today and they claim they can make the valves. I have a appointment set-up with their engineering team to get a quote on making intake and exhaust valves. Once I get the the OEM valves in I can send them down to them and have them matched them up for production. If anyone is interested in a set of valves please let me know. If i can place an order for 50 of each valve I can get the price down into a regular production vs. custom production. I'll put some into stock but I really don't want to have 50 of each in stock. |

Hey Lance When you get them, i'm in for 2 full sets.. 16 valves yes? Might even be able to get cutters from Goodson to do a real valve job, not just a lapping. I still have to get to my 1125 and do the 1190 kit. At that time I will be able to see what, if anything, I can do to these heads. I do know there are small gains there as my 1190RS has the full intake tract port matched and my 1125 was not. Z |

"Good luck with that. According to Court, Erik bought everything from Rotax, basically removing them from the loop. The line I remember was something to the effect that there was nothing in Austria with the name Buell or H-D." If you look at the parts on the Buell and EBR engines, they still say made in Austria. Whether they actually are or the current manu has yet to scrub the lettering. Buell may own the eights and IP for the motors, but the parts are NOT made in E.Troy WI. Assembled, yes. Not cast or machined. EBR is too small of an operation to do that in house. Their tool shop is only large enough for small scale proto jobs and the like. I have reached out to Rotax before about their involvement and production, they have denied everything and directed me to speak with EBR directly as they are legally obligated to do. Del West makes the valves and rods are Zzuhl. |

Update: Today I received the last of the 1125 valves in. I have 1 extra of the F0141.1AM exhaust valves and 6 of the F0140.1AM intake valves. If anyone needed OEM spares now is the time. Contact me at lkugler@stpaulhd.com |

Well, today I received a email informing me that, the head bolts, cam chain tension guides, oil jet banjo bolts and radiator hoses are now obsolete. So if you need to rebuild your motor, EBR is the only source for the items that can not be reused. The fat lady is singing! |
