Hahaha..... several were snagged during La Perga ...... I remember when Mark told me "and get those old posters out of here" (the Red RS1200 posters) that so offended Hutchinson & Co. I did precisely what they asked. |

I believe it is on the ignition box...I'd go look at mine but since I thunderstormed it, it runs an S1W Buell "race" box. I may have kept the old one on the shelf though...I'll dig next time I'm out there (if I remember...getting old SUCKS). |

Now that snowmobile racing is done I'll be getting back on this project. I have the handle bars and controls done. I have to do some wiring for the flasher and extra stuff like lights and heated grips. I dropped off the body work off at my paint guy today. I have all the decals except the two for the tank cover. I'm waiting for my graphic design guy to finish them. Matt

What are those bar mounts they look like they were made for different type of bar? Have you got a pic of the brake and adapter? |

The fork mounts are just cheep Chinese clip ons. It was cheaper and easier to buy than make. What do you mean by the brake adapter? I made one for the front caliper because it has a Ducati wheel and rotor. That is further back in the thread. Matt |

Yes the one for the front caliper, never saw the finished product. Only saw a pic in the mill. |

I had my guy make some tank decals for my yellow jacket s2. The paint shop put them slightly in the wrong place but they look good. Cost me $30 for the decals and design work. He had to cut the colors separate so the spacing wasn't perfect between "Buell" and "American motorcycles" by the body shop either. I could get him to cut you some for $20 if you're interested. Any color.

A couple of questions. What's the right setup for a super trap. It doesn't have any disks or end cap on it. Anybody have a suggestion for mirrors. I want one's with turn signals. I want to us the original signal location for driving lights. I was looking at these but I'm a little worried about quality. Screamer is working on the parts for me. How many discs are you running? |

Matt, Mine has 14 disc's. If memory serves, there were two end caps, a closed one and an "open" one with a hole in the center. Mind is the open version. This one is for the stock 2" header that wraps around under the front of the motor like the 2 1/2" race header. I didn't like the sound of the ST at all. It was kind of "fluffy" sounding. That's why I switched to a modified V&H. I've got a race header on it now, the V&H was shortened and the curved section was cut off. I expanded the short straight section to slip over the header collector. |

I've got all the decals now. The bodywork is in the paint shop. I got the mirrors and driving lights mocked up. I made a mount for the lights. The one it came with didn't look all that good. All the wiring is done. I just got a front rim today. I need to fix up the rear and powdercoat them. Screamer sending me the disks and end cap for the super trapp. I have a uly front brake line coming because the S2 has the wrong size for the xb master cylinder. And some pics Matt

I can dig it! Reminds me of the handlebar and dash setup on my last S2T. |

I pulled it apart with plans to rebuild it from scratch, and sold off all the parts I didn't plan on reusing, but then became enamored with the XBs, so I used the money from selling off bits to build my Uly instead, and sold the rest of the S2 to Dan. If I decide to build another S2 some day, I will build it from scratch, instead of starting with a running bike, so that if I decide not to rebuild it, at least I'm not taking a running bike off the road. On the other hand, I have been doing my part to keep S2s and other Buells on the road instead being inoperable due to broken parts . |

It's pretty much done. I'm just waiting on battery. Also the saddle bag gaskets are in poor condition and I would like to find a different style to help with their sealing issue. Some before and after pic's. Matt
