Bought an s1 with a twin tail, im in the process of getting a solo on it. I have the tail section and plan to order a seat from Corbin. It looks like the tail light support bracket is different as well- ive looked around for a used one without much luck. Does anyone have pics of the solo vs twin support bracket? Or have any advice on making one? |

I want to say the solo doesn't HAVE a bracket, the light just bolts to the tail subframe? And the twintail bracket is literally a "spacer" so the light isn't tucked too far under the bodywork... |

It has a bracket but it is nothing more then sheet metal bent to hold the light with tabs iff the side bent to hold turns. If it was me i would buy a single tail light with intagreted turns then you just need a 90 degree piece of metal google it there are some side by side pics out there As far as the corbin not sure they do them anymore without your seat but they might |

For the tail light brackets ,they are gone for a long time. So best option is to make one yourself! I made a couple from 3mm alloy sheet last summer ,made a template from carton and copied it onto the plate. Cutting it out with a electric jigsaw and bending one by one with folding bench. It's time consuming but the end result is almost as good as the originals! |

knuckleduster: welcome to BadWeb lol there is no inbox, it just goes to your email The search function sucks Overall its a terrible forum (the type of forum, not the people and info, those are both fantastic) |

Haha its all good, i like this place in all honesty- not much newb flaming, plenty of folks willing to give advice and share knowledge. Im sure ill have plenty more stoopid questions here in a bit. Im actually getting ready to get this project underway.... I took a 5 hour drive yesterday to pick up a complete xb9s engine i plan to use the heads, pistons and cams out of as well as a complete xb front end and rear wheel setup. |
