Trump could appoint Mrs. Clinton herself to a cabinet position and the screams from the left would never end. Anyone he appoints will get the full backlash of the media and everyone on the left.
Is it just me or did they create the "alt-right" thing just a few months ago to avoid actually confronting the real issues?
We deplorables/basement dwellers/super-predators/bitter-clingers needed a catchy name, something easy that would stick in the lo-fo's minds and could be used not only as an identifier, but also as an insult.
And yes, in the past several weeks I'm suddenly seeing, reading and hearing "alt-right" EVERYWHERE; it's certainly deliberate.
Trump won the election in SPITE of the mainstream media, and at least partly BECAUSE OF NON-mainstream media.
We breached the MSM's firewall this time, a YUGE victory, and they (the left) is dead set on ever letting that happen again.
Which is why, IMO, they're suddenly displaying such heartburn about Bannon (who, incidentally, was Trump's campaign CEO for the past 15 months - why all the commotion NOW?)
This article, just posted-up on CTH, would normally belong on the pResident Zero thread, but it belongs here instead, considering how nicely it dovetails into our conversation regarding Steve Bannon:

President Obama Discusses Globalist Earthquake and Plans for Future Political Tectonic Shifts By Sundance, Nov. 17, 2016
President Obama held a press conference today with German Chancellor Angela Merkel [Germany's equivalent of Hillary Clinton - FB], and fielded questions about the 2016 presidential election. Within the optics and the presented narrative it is possible to find evidence of the globalist’s perspective on the loss, and more importantly their intents moving forward. Very Rivkin-esque.
Within the EU Merkel is the defacto representative of the continent’s globalist vision; as such when President Obama and Merkel appear together you will always find the epicenter of globalist advocacy – the direct opposition of nationalism.
...There are many responses within the overall Merkel/Obama event which should be keenly understood by all Americans. However, this response within this specific video (sound bite below) is a good summation:
Notice how President Obama responds by pointing toward “social media”.
The globalist movement, through Obama himself, exploited social media to carry out their prior globalist ideological endeavors. This was not only evidenced within Obama’s ’08 election, but also with the rise of his “Arab Spring”; which was kicked off post-Cairo speech, when FaceBook was enlisted to advance the Brotherhood cause.
It is remarkable to see President Obama now pointing a finger toward social media as a risk toward the globalist endeavors. This will be missed by most, but explains why you are seeing a filtering shift amid those who control the architecture of the various social media platforms. The specific phrase: …“but, we’ll figure it out”… should ring your alarm bells.
Also within this admission is where you find the first specific evidence of why they need to eliminate Steve Bannon, who has effectively outwitted the globalist team on their own social media platforms.
I thought I had really missed the boat on the alt-right thing. I first read this term, just a couple of days ago, and it sounded like some sort of long know, dark movement from the extreme right, involving racism, sexism, and numerous other isms. I was seriously wondering how I had missed this.
Personally, I'm sick and tired of the insinuations that I'm racist, or anything else for my political views. The other label de jour is White Nationalist. I gather this is a new name for racist. The left has lost the argument for ideas, so they are trying to get out in front of defining who has won that argument with the use of false ad hominem attacks. Frankly, those who are going to engage in such dishonest tactics can just get the out of my life. I have zero desire to associate with them at this point in time. It's time to take back our country, and be clear about what that means. Communist used to be a bad thing. Somehow we have gotten to where communist is something that the new generation is finding appealing. We have failed the children of our nation. Time to fix that!
Somehow we have gotten to where communist is something that the new generation is finding appealing. We have failed the children of our nation.
Operation paperclip. It's freaking documented and obvious, but if you say that in a public setting, people look at you like you're alex jones on a college campus.
Colleges and universities have been brainwashing impressionable kids into becoming atheist communists since the nazis were force injected into the education system.
I expect the same to happen with islam.
edit: before someone calls me out, yes, i know nazis were socialist, not communist, but "the goal of socialism is communism".
For a good (but long winded) read on the power of social media and other power centers, check out Jaron Lanier's book: "Who Owns the Future". Scary stuff.
We are all being reduced to a common denominator of what good are we for society. How will we make money when the only money to be had is in the buying and selling of information. Specifically when people subscribe to sites like facebook where you freely give them all your (and your family and friends) information. Which they then turn around and sell for billions of dollars.
"Colleges and universities have been brainwashing impressionable kids into becoming atheist communists since the nazis were force injected into the education system. "
Being an atheist does not mean you are a communist or socialist.
He might be a joke but I give him props for expressing those opinions to that crowd. That took some balls because even he had to know that the vast majority of that crowd would disagree with him.

Steve Bannon Interview: “I am Thomas Cromwell in the court of the Tudors” By Sundance, Nov. 18, 2016
Great interview in The Hollywood Reporter with Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon. Well worth the read. Excerpt:
(Via The Hollywood Reporter) […] “The media bubble is the ultimate symbol of what’s wrong with this country,” he continues. “It’s just a circle of people talking to themselves who have no f—ing idea what’s going on. If The New York Times didn’t exist, CNN and MSNBC would be a test pattern. The Huffington Post and everything else is predicated on The New York Times. It’s a closed circle of information from which Hillary Clinton got all her information — and her confidence. That was our opening.”
From the HR article linked above, directed at a recent comment on this thread about Trump's transition team being in disarray.
At the time of that comment I could have predicted (correctly, as it turns out) that it was a meme being pushed by none other than the notoriously left-leaning New York Times. The NYT was then being used by the rest of the MSM as the source of the disarray meme, giving the meme nationwide credibility and traction.
See how that works?
quote:
On that precise point, The New York Times, in a widely circulated article, will describe this day at Trump Tower as a scene of "disarray" for the transition team. [emphasis mine - FB] In fact, it's all hands on: Mike Pence, the vice president-elect and transition chief, and Reince Priebus, the new chief of staff, shuttling between full conference rooms; Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and by many accounts his closest advisor, conferring in the halls; Sen. Jeff Sessions in and out of meetings on the transition team floor; Rudy Giuliani upstairs with Trump (overheard: "Is the boss meeting-meeting with Rudy or just shooting the shit?"), and Bannon with a long line of men and women outside his corner office. If this is disarray, it's a peculiarly focused and organized kind. [emphasis mine - FB]
"Particularly focused and organized." This is precisely why President-elect Trump is, in fact, President-elect Trump.
