Pristine . . .and the Yellow Jacket was one of the great colors from 1995. |

Wow. Also looks to be one of the first 300, since it has billet triples as well. |

Bruce Zimmerman had the first Yellow Jacket Pearl in terms of customers. I think Marty's may have been YJP also. Great color ! |

K12pilot I hope you bought it. That's a beauty! How much were they asking and do you know what number it is? |

I had seen it while searching in & around PA, just not what I was looking for. I found this early Bourget down by Philly.

I did buy it... I had to.... #146 w docs & plate. Rear tail was bubbled up a bit but I had an NOS tail from a parts hoard out of Colorado a couple years back. Paint matched perfectly. Never in a million years did I think k it would have. (Message edited by K12pilot on August 15, 2016) |

Great looking bike! Glad you found it. Amazed it was on craigslist for 6 months. S1's are my top pick, but if I was to have any other tuber it'd be an S2 or S3. There's been a yellow M2 around Pittsburgh that's been on craigslist forever. It's popped up every time I've searched. Not sure if something's wrong with it or what the story is. |

Good looking Buell S2. If the stock pipe was put on it would be 100% original. |

It probably sat there because it is Yellow. A lot of people would not buy/ride a Yellow bike. I think it is fantastic. I saw it there months ago and would be proud to own that bike. I would like to have a Yellow EBR 1190RX. I currently have a Yellow M2. I didn't like the color to begin with but it has grown on me to where I love that it is Yellow. I'm glad it's not black. Too many black bikes out there. |

When I had an xb9s years ago, it came in yellow. The bodywork on those bikes is so easy to swap that I just met some guy off of craigslist in a parking lot with a torx wrench, we traded my yellow bodywork for his black bodywork and went on his way. |

That's a beautiful thing. Nice find. S2's may be one of the most underappreciated quality motorcycles out there. Makes for good buying, but I don't get it. |

Me personally Am not a fan of red or yellow. Reason being a lot of 30 -40 era hotrods were painted those colors so I grew to dislike them. I was told by an old school body guy it became so popular because 1 it looked fast and 2 it hides mire flaws then black ir white. I dont mind black mine was all black every part but I would clean and wax it then an hour later it was dirty again it showed every speck of dust or dirt! |

The XB9S I used to own was yellow when I bought it. It was horrible. I met some guy from craigslist in a parking lot with a torx wrench and went home on a black bike. Glad I ended up with a silver this time around. |
