Hi all, After low-siding my 1125R a couple months ago, I'm in the business of making it whole again. The ONE part I need is ridiculously expensive at the local Harley dealer and I refuse to pay that for a 4oz aluminum puck. I'm in need of the Clutch Cover Plug as seen in my photo. The original plug took a serious grinding, but did its job in protecting the clutch case in my 50mph low-side slide. Does anyone know of a reliable Buell parts supplier that doesn't charge an arm and a leg? The part number I need is: R1028.1AM If anyone HAS one they would like to sell, I would be ecstatic! Thanks in advance for any help you guys can lend me.

i had similar experience; my puck had some 'imperfections' when i bought the bike. I used plastidip to improve the looks and it worked ok. i did find a clutch cover assembly w/ the puck included on ebay for ~200$. which seemed more reasonable, considering the price of just the puck. (dont see 1 available doing quick search now, but i have seen them still on ebay recently) the little decal in the middle i got for like 10$ from American Sport Bike, before they shut down... |

I think I have a couple, they're not perfect. They've never been crashed , but the powdercoat is bubbled by the weep hole. I'll look for them tonight and post some pictures. |

The problem is that Harley charged an arm and a leg for those things. American Sport Bike was selling them at cost (no markup), and they were still expensive. Sometimes you can luck out and find one used, but usually the used ones are damaged. |

Found one. Has a small rash spot, probably could be smoothed out and painted. If you want it, $50 shipped.
