I am shocked and saddened to hear Buellistic has passed! He was a great person helping any and all with practicable help on keeping the classic tubers going strong. I told him he should put all his 101 classes up on a website, but wouldn't you know it, now this happens? Damned. Just takes me by surprise. I guess it should be a lesson to all of us. Treat everyone kindly, because our time here short...probably shorter than we think. Condolences to his family and may that kind and decent man that we knew as Buellistic rest in Peace! |

I had tried to get him to post them all also but he said way to much work. Not sure he new how to convert them he gad them all saved as emails I think. Either he did email me like 15 emails in a row last one said carefull what you ask for!!! He was a good guy how many people just jump out of their life to help others! Well this website sure follows along his thoughts we can all carry him along as ling as we countinue this path there are many in here doing that vary thing and truely believe LaFayette was one who helped foster it!!! I have truely only ran into 2 people on this site that I did not see Eye to eye with and thats pretty impressive! I did put in a request for a fallen biker section so we will see if something like this happens as its easy to miss. Does anyone know what his final milage on his Buell was I would like that for the 101 class post? Does anyone else have more 101 classes? |

Dang! Been gone a while and sad to see this. Had a couple nice email exchanges and a very nice phone conversation with Lafayette once. We've lost a good man and I'll miss him. May he rest in peace. |

Damn, Sad to hear this. I read Lafayette's post often, but only met him once at the 2002 BRAG event at Deal's Gap. He was unique, basically took me through all the potential trouble spots on my then new X1 right after the hand shake. He certainly added a lot of personality to the forum and always helped anyone who asked. God Speed! |

I'm working on a buell-centric wiki that might be a good spot for these (and other) resources to be organized and/or linked to. I'm working on getting the basics together and will share a link soon. Once it's launched, anyone will be able to edit, update, and contribute. |

Buellistic - I thought he would live forever and hope he does here for sure. Not sure why some here would get pissed at him for loving his passion here. I know I let him know a few times that I thought his views were great and wished him all the best. For sure a man to remember and will be missed. Always push for the best running bike in the state. When you know you got there, remember those like Buellistic.

I have them all in PDF formatI need to jump in and black out some people's personal info. Then I just need to spend some time and get them up on the site. Have to figure out who to talk with. Been a busy time here switching jobs and general life but I will get this done I think it is important |

I found a few 101's from Buellistic in my email box and sent them to Ken to add to the collection. In my search, gmail actually did a web search and found this. Its an article from "American Motorcycling" from June 1965.

I grew up in Greenville Ohio (#12). And live right by Middletown Ohio (17). What year do you supose that was from? I remember Lafeyette talking about racing, but don't recall the dates. |
