Ok so I have my new aircleaner on with the plexiglass front and when ever blip the throttle to 25-4000 I see fuel on the plexiglass. Idk if it's an issue or not but it seems to me like it might be getting to much fuel. What do y'all think? I will put up a pic of the air cleaner for reference also ever since I changed handlebars my throttle is sticking .

It's normal, at least in my experience. Any carb I've ever run, has spat fuel in my eye if I rev it on the lift with no air filter. |

Totally normal. The intake is really short so you'll always see some reversion at lower RPM. On dyno runs when the bike is easy to watch I've seen a ball of fuel/fog emerge from the carb and then get sucked back in. It was really several balls of fuel/fog seen in stop motion. You're going to need to bring a bottle of windex with you |

Ok cool any ideas on why the throttle would be sticking after replacing the bars .I know it's something to do with me removing the throttle assembly. Is there a spring or something that might have came off? |

Try unhooking the throttle cables and see if the throttle tube spins freely over the bar. You can make sure for some reason the new bars aren't slightly too thick, or have a sticker/tape on them and causing too much friction. Otherwise it's very likely one of the cables isn't routed smoothly inside the handlebar housing. I'd say the least likely option is that something is binding at the carb end, but you should be able to see it if it is, without having to remove any parts. I'd lube up your throttle cables while you're at it for good measure. |

That little teflon guide in the throttle is a bitch!!! |

The only return spring is the on the carb, so you most likely didn't loose anything. Start at the beginning, is the throttle tube easy to twist on the bars? From there, make sure that you reassembled the throttle housing correctly and check your cable routing. Is there interference between the throttle housing and grip? Like anything else, take your time and go through the system. On another note, if you have your cables adjusted to tight, you'll notice that the bike will rev higher when you turn the bars. |

Sometimes the bars need sanded down slightly for the throttle tube. Pull the throttle apart see if you can pull the cables themselves if so its in the assembly |

You have a screw loose. (At 3 oclock in the first picture...) |

Another simple thing to check, if you have bar end mirrors, make sure the right mirror is not against the throttle grip. Loosen or remove the mirror, try the throttle. |

oooh I've been there. I had to pull off both grips and all of the controls so I could drill new holes to move everything in because in the stock position the throttle tube overhangs past the end of the bar. Made it impossible to tighten up the bar end mirror I had properly. |

....or you could have just trimmed the ends of the grips off... |

I'm confused how chopping the end of my grip off would help the fact that the throttle tube sticks out past the end of the handlebar, and wasn't compatible with a bar end mirror. I guess I could've cut both the grip and the plastic throttle tube so they weren't rubbing, but then my right grip is going be missing the last quarter inch and look horrible, all for the sake of half-assing something that only took 10 minutes to do. |

Make sure you have enough slack in the cables so that push/pull aren't fighting. |
