I've had this sitting on the shelf for awhile. It's a brand new in the box X1 fairing which will also fit the other tube frame bikes. Still wearing the factory primer. It does have little shelf wear, but no scratches or dings, just some rub marks. I do NOT have the mounting hardware. $100 and shipping (yes, that means you pay shipping). |

I say that I am interested in this and ask questions about it, will you sell it out from under me also? |

M2statz, haven't you been looking for a chin fairing for almost 10 years now? |

Mike sorry you're bent, but I sold the headlights to the FIRST person who said they wanted to BUY them. You said you were interested. I'm glad you're interested in the chin fairing, ask all the questions you want. But the first person who says they will buy it, yup, I'm selling it to them. |

Apologies for the related tangent and not directed at anyone. I got rubbed wrong in a few similar events over the years but I understand where sellers are coming from. (People here are generally good folks with honest intentions) -Guy #1 says "I'm interested" and it could mean 100% intent to buy, or 100% interested but wants to make sure it's as represented, perhaps genuinely interested but wants more details before committing, ... or actually wants to negotiate the price etc. -Then ya have guy #2 that says "I want it" or "I'll take it" and he means the same thing as guy #1. Worst thing that can happen if you use the wording "I'll take it" and don't go through with the deal (with/without cause) is that buyer #2 is now peachy happy as well as the seller. DAve |

In the cases of buying and selling that Ive experienced here on our glorious BADWEB... A simple "Dibs, PM sent" is all that is required to be first in line. If your PM isn't responded to in the way you would like then simply turn it over to the next one "in line". In this particular case, the seller has put a great description, pictures and price. I can't imagine any questions that may be, except maybe a price negotiation. But, even that is described plainly and is a very reasonable price. Either you want the piece or you don't. Its not proper BADWEB etiquette to keep the piece from someone else while you try to decide if you want it or not. |
