I've been looking at the Uly for about 3 years now and am finally ready to pull the trigger. I'd prefer a clean 08-10 with 8K or less on the clock and all the equipment it had when it left the factory. Not looking to lowball anyone, market price as a starting point for negotiation yaddi yadda. I'm located in central Illinois but will travel to either coast (or the north coast for a maple leaf special) if the right one shows itself. If you are interested in trades, I have an unfarkled, clean 05 FJR (Galaxy blue)with ABS that I can be talked into parting with (maybe) otherwise a straight up cash purchase works for me too. There are 2.4k miles on the feejer. Price is what you pay, value is what you get, but I'm not interested in funding your retirement if you are looking to cash in on a trailer queen as an investment; it ain't destined to look pretty in my garage, I plan to use it often. Thanx, and stay safe. |

ANTIPOD, still looking? We might be selling our either one of ours, or both. Haven't decided yet, but I think it will be inevitable. Maybe next spring 2017. But here is a pic of our "beauties". They are in excellent condition. Won't get into too many details at this time. Send me a message if you wish.

2006XT, black, low miles (9,000), no problems, new tires/wheel bearings/battery, two extra seats, stock bags. Bike has been converted to 'low' version, but I have the original 'tall' parts. Bike is in N.J. |

I don't think there was such a thing as a 2006XT, do you mean a 2006 XB12X? |

Yes, I meant XB12X. However, I converted it to the 'low' version (shorter rear shock and sidestand, forks raised in the triple clamps). There was a low version produced after 2006 (one or two years?) which had a different designation: XB12XT perhaps? |

Kinda. The XB12X and XB12XT were similar bikes when both were produced (starting in 2008). The differences were subtle (suspension and sidestand) but really change the character of the bike. But the difference between an 06 XB12X and any XB12XT (which started in 2008) is pretty significant. Some because of the differences between an X and an XT, but a lot because of the differences between an 06 and an 08 (since every XT is an 08 or later). Not trying to be difficult, just trying to prevent potential buyer confusion. Those are beautiful bikes, and the low conversion would be a useful one for a lot of people looking at a 2006 Uly. |
