Anybody else play Star Trek on an IBM mainframe back in the '70s? Had to load it from a card deck. Along with everything else that ran on the computer back then. I did, and was astounded at how cool it was! | ||

It was the reward for fixing those damn card readers. I still have scars. When I was in the navy in the early 80's we played a similar version on all the radar gear. Could even play between ships, but I never saw that part. | ||

I wasn't willing to make that assertion until I heard evidence of it. There was one other recent case of a "hispanic" actually being a muslim but I can't remember which one (there have been far too many). If I was Hispanic I would raise hell about this convenient "misunderstanding". Let's blame Hispanics to soften the blow to islam's reputation. If you didn't know what he was except brown, then say he's brown, but don't intentionally mislead the public. | ||

Earlier, I voiced by distain about the Goat Shaggers, and was called out on it because it was thought to indicate a particular "race". In my Father's time, there were two Great Evils. Nazism, witch like the "Islamic" issue today crossed ethnic and geographic boundries, and even included some natural born Americans. The other Great Evil of my Father's time were the Japanese. No dancing around the PC thing with that one. A homogenous society, hell bent on global domination. Did America go too far in the interment of Japanese American citizens? They looked like a duck, and walked like a duck even if they didn't quack like a duck. So most all the ducks had to suffer for it. The free world in United Determination crushed them both, and freed the subjugated millions. Today, we need the same determination. The major problem with rooting out the Islamists is in the identifying. Not all of them are "swarthy" and walk around in man dresses with a sword. They come in all sizes, shapes and colors. It is easy to tag the stereotypical goat shagger. Can you pick out an Asian goat shagger? Or a German , or British, or east European without the stereotypical dress? Can you tell the difference between the huge beard of an Islamist, and the beard of a Hassidic Jew, or any number of cultures and populations that wear them? So is it a hateful thing that Goat Shaggers get profiled? I saw a pickup truck going down the road the other day. On the rear window in large lettering it said "Alluah Akbar". I figured, ok, at least his guy has some balls, and firmly understands in America, it is his right. I passed him so I could get a look and put a face to it all. Did I see a tall slender swarthy guy with a beard, hooked nose, and those glaring "I kill you" eyes? Nope, kid, early 20's. Red curly hair, and skin so pale he would fry in minutes in direct sunlight. My first red haired Goat Shagger. It made me physically ill to see it knowing that with his hair, he may share some distant ancestry with me. Smart kid. Driving down the road with a sign that says, Yo , I'm a Goat Shagger. I did see some genuine authentic Goat Shaggers a while back in a Lowes near my home. Two of them in man dresses, with their women a few steps behind. It was all I could do to not walk up and tell them that pipe fittings and fertilizer are on isle 4. I once thought that Goat Shagger attacks would never happen in my area. Not long ago just that happened 40 miles away. By a known Goat Shagger that had been under investigation, that fit the profile, was a known instigator and had not been brought in because some pu**y was too afraid of not being Politically Correct. | ||

We know that the Muslims move in, they unabashedly declare what they're going to do "sharia will dominate the world". And they keep reproducing, and moving their cronies into the area, and subjugating folks, and of course there are a few honest conversions by folks who are not well enough educated about islam to see that it's totally not the one true religion free from all fallacies. It's not like our next president is going to say, "ok guys, it's time to take a vote on whether or not we want sharia here in the US". It's happening slowly, subtly. Friendly attitudes, miseducation, and PC policies that restrict citizens from saying, "this is wrong and we won't have it here" are going to weaken the mentalities of the general public to the point where we say, "ok, muslims, you can have this district. You guys have your sharia, and you can leave us alone and we'll leave you alone". And the foothold will grow and soon folks will be afraid to openly oppose islam. We need a massive IO (information operations) campaign exposing all of the scientific and moral fallacies, racism, sexism, pedophilia, etc that are at the heart and soul of islam. Muslims have the Constitutional right to exercise their religion freely here in the US, but there needs to be a major shift in the public attitude towards islam. It will never go away, and the threat of global domination will exist for as long as people practice islam. | ||

Oh no... not because you refer to a race. Not at all. That's a different rant  Because calling the enemy a disparaging name is a dehumanizing tactic. And you have to understand they are all too human. You will underestimate the evil and passion, thus miss motivation and the cleverness of the depths they will go to to murder & rape your sisters & wives. While the individual raghead/goatherder/gook/squarehead/potato eater/nip/kike/etc. Is acting is an inhuman manner by our eyes they are acting by taught and preached standards of behavior that are very human. And the labels used....... it's not that I'm offended. It's that the labels can blind you to the reality. And the reality is that Jihadi strategy in the big picture is to enslave all others. See the mayor of London. He now tells the people that hired him to just submit to being randomly murdered. Get used to it, because in Obama terms, it's the New Normal. Well, it's not. It's war. It's an invasion. It's murder to intimidate and rape to terrify and the goal is to substitute your culture with a constructed one designed to make you a willing slave rather than fight back. Fast.... Pretty much agree. I suppose I object to Goat Shagger because just like "unlawful combatant" or "work related incident" it's not accurate. And, in discussing a subject where a huge number of people are in serious denial that it's a real war, using the wrong words gives others the opportunity to dismiss your argument, and you, as uncultured and unworthy of respect. Sure that's not fair, but it's Human, just like the Jihadi are. And me using the word "Jihadi" pi$$es people off and let them ( in their own minds, with their own rationalizations ) put me down as "racist" and unworthy too. ( Islam is not a race... but try to tell the idiots that ) | ||

Actually that's extremely accurate. Good call. Not that unusual in history. In WW2 the Nazis allied with some tribes in Iraq etc. to fight the British. Both sides operated on the "when we win we'll kill the sucker that helped us" basis. ( Saddam Hussein's tribe was one of the Nazi Allies. ) In the Cold War, ( and Today ) The Soviets ( Russians & Chinese ) use the Islamists to fight the west, and supply them with weapons. Since the Communist Cult, just like Islam, is a "No other cult but us may live" religion, it's obvious to every non- idiot on the planet that They Plan To Betray each other the second they think they can get away with it, each sincerely believing that once the immediate goal of crushing western civilization is achieved it will then be a snap to cut the throat of the unbeliever scum that is their tool. The problem I have with "Jihadi" is that it is THEIR term. I picture a group of them sitting around, and one says "The infidels are calling us Jihadi", and the room erupts into trilling and high fives. Jihadi is their IDENTITY. Islamists is an IDENTITY. Neither of which paints a clear portrait of the scale of the evil to the unknowing sheeple. "The Great Evil" is too broad a term. "child raper" has a certain shock value, but is not quite it. In WWII the Japanese used propaganda posters of cartoonish Americans eating children. Worked pretty well to as evidenced by the number of Okinawans that committed suicide after throwing their children to their death. The psychological war has to either debilitate or enrage the enemy, and at the same time stir the populace. The PC system withholds the shocking. It is one thing to say 50 people were killed today in an attack, or 150 were executed on the beach. The enemy tapes and shows it all to the believers in a "look what we did today" display. What WE get from our media is a sweep of bloody sand, or a shot of the trail of fire headed towards the cage. The response is "gee that's sad" glad we don't have that going on here. | ||

Not just the opportunity, it pretty much demands it be dismissed. When it is logically inaccurate, and inflammatory, it hurts the cause even when it tries to help the cause. It makes facts too easy to dismiss, because they were prefaced by things that are inflammatory and inaccurate. We don't get simple problems anymore (maybe we never did). And we don't have simple solutions anymore (maybe we never did). | ||
