Selling my all black 09 XB12 motor. It has ~10K miles on the bottom end, 0 miles on the top end that it will ship with. I pulled the original top end and sold it to a friend that wanted the black top end for his S1. The top end it will ship with is SE CNC ported heads and NRHS 1250 kit with XB9 style pistons. The ECM is stock tune I believe, but I will flash it with the Race map before shipping. I can order and ship a wiring harness as well for a conversion, but that will add ~$300 to the cost as that is the cost to order a new harness. If you live in a lower elevation or don't want the more aggressive compression from the XB9 piston, I can mill the domes down to a more moderate level before final assembly, so it's more friendly with pump gas. The extra compression adds quite a bit of torque and power though, if you have 93 Octane at sea level, or 91 at 6000 ft, to handle it. $2400+delivery for the motor, $2600 with the ECM (not for sale separately), $2900 with the harness. This motor is complete with manifold, sensors, primary, etc, but no exhaust. (Message edited by phelan on September 07, 2016) |

Howdy Chris, if your Uly is stock, then this would make it noticeably more powerful. However, at the risk of potentially killing a sale, it's not the most cost effective way unless your bottom end is already suspect, or you have interest in using or selling your current motor elsewhere. But if you want to discuss options and opinions on it, feel free to drop me a PM and I'll email you back my number and we can call or text, or email back and forth if you prefer. |
