This might be old news but I understand 2016 will be the last year of the air cooled big twins from the MoFoCo. 4 valve heads and increased displacement - I think it was 107 and 113 ci, too. The line I kept hearing was "Don't buy a 2017"! No worries, there. |

No radiator(s) on this - apparent - test bike... The news has been leaked in Oz, as well. They claim air cooled. Interesting seeing a steering damper on the bike in the first article however... 1313 |

That sounds pretty much what I heard and forgot (single cam) but the conjecture was they'd all be water cooled due to the gaskets that Hardley is currently sending out. I gather they're having some issues with internal coolant leakage at the moment and their flagship models have been nicknamed Steaming Eagles as a result. |

Funny... Haven't heard squat about any release of it yet, so I decided to search Milwaukee Eight on Harley-davidson.com and got the following:
Sturgis is almost over, when will they make their announcement (or will it be some stupid social media 'spectacle' like 2016)? 1313 |

Apparently this is the hottest, latest Harley-Davidson news... Well, that and their stock performance is less than optimal... 1313 |

The new Harleys are out. Looks like there is indeed an 8-valve version of the big twin. http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_US/h ome/motorcycles/2017-motorcycles/touring.html |

They're laying off 200 people (give or take). Supposedly the majority of them are coming for the York plant up the road. |

Cycle world seems to think the valve train is chain driven like a Twin Cam - but the pictures pretty clearly show pushrods. Yes, Pushrods in an engine designed in the 21st century. I haven't been paying attention to HD - When did they stop building Dyna glides? |

2017 was the last of the Dyna glides |
