I know it is between 1 and 2. But I was thinking standard pattern and kept looking between 4th and 5th. And I do think he test drove it as he gave me a very accurate description of my Pogo stick rear shock. Hahah (Message edited by Charger22 on August 22, 2016) |

Over the last 10 weeks, I've put another 6,000 miles going to Philly 3x on the S2T. Third trip out on Sat am, back Tues pm. All funerals. Made alot of new "friends" along the way. Even let one 72 year old man swing a leg over. He had a smile ear to ear. Running like a champ. Dunlop Q3's showing about half life. They are new this year. Intervals of 140-180 miles between stops. Took Doris with me on trip 2, she said never again. |

Tried to ride it to work, and had to call my wife to come pick me up. I made it about 2 miles before it died on me. Would restart right up, then die as soon as I'd start to let the clutch out with it in gear and the side stand up. I'm assuming it was instigated by the downpour I got caught in on my way home yesterday, the back tire was probably throwing water as the sidestand switch. I'll have to look into it later when I get home from work. |

Just get rid of the side stand switch and your life will be better. |

Rode the X1W to work, bouncy beat rear shock and all. That thing pulls like a locomotive but I sure miss a fairing at 80 MPH and up. It might be time to hunt up S3 parts to replace that little flyscreen. |

I just pulled into driveway from a quick afternoon ride on the X1 and noticed this:
Not as many miles as lots of folks on this forum, but I hope to keep it going for many years to come. I got it about 4 or 5 years back with 9k on the clock and have really enjoyed riding these last 15.999k! (Message edited by buellrobot on September 14, 2016) |
