Hi guys, I was complaining about the vibration on long rides making my hands numb and was recommended to buy these weights. Now I don't know how to install them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. |

What did you get? The HVMP weights are easy to install, you remove the stock bar end plugs, insert the HVMP bar ends, then use the included allen wrench to tighten it. Leave a small gap on the throttle side to prevent binding. |

I could never get the stock bar end plugs to remove easily--I probably could have just ripped them off with some pliers but I didn't want to destroy them. I bought some lead shot and poured it into the clipons. At first, I didn't tape over the hole in each clipon, and some of the pellets got into the controls and made the turn signal switch not want to engage properly. I didn't make that mistake twice. Unfortunately, it didn't have a huge effect on vibration. Maybe a little but not enough to justify the 10 minutes to do it again. |

They're some crappy brand that my buddy got n from who knows where, but the quality feels decent. The link helps a lot, but how do I take the end plugs off? Do they turn like a bolt? I don't know how they're held on there. |

If you have a air compressor, remove the bolt that holds the handle bar to the triple tree and use a air nozzle to blown the bar end out, or use a rod to push it out. |

a tight grip cuts off the blood circulation to your hand. I use hard rubber fat grips so I can keep a loose grip and have full finger contact without overlap. make sense? |

The vibranator product looks promising. I will probably get a set from them for my old Kaw 500 2-stroke triple race bike with H2 750 inline triple engine slotted in. The bike's clip-ons vibrate like there is no tomorrow. |
