You've got a 2000 S3, right? 1999-2002 had the header that went under the frame tube. The only factory heat shield - that I recall - for that style of header was the plastic heat shield on the M2. See pic There might be aftermarket alternatives that I don't recollect, but the header under the frame was supposed to be the improvement. Not sure if it would fit with S3 bodywork - or even offer an advantage - or not, 1313 |

You are correct. I'm still learning about this old school Buell. So now I'm on the hunt for one of these to see if I can make it work....
