Hey Guys! I recently installed a Jardine RT-1 and EBR race ecm calibrated for the Jardine on my '09 XT but it feels lean to me between about 2500-3500 RPM or so.
It idles great, has no backfiring during decel and rips pretty good from about 4000 on. But just cruising in that RPM range and twist the loud handle and not much happens.
I'm running the stock air filter and other than the muffler and ecm, the bike is stock.
My old '06 Uly with a D&D muffler and a piggyback EFI controller felt like it made considerably more power everywhere.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Ditch the Jardine. Huge torque/power loss in the midrange and terrible reliability, as they need repacking often.

I was afraid of that. I should have gone with my first choice of Drummer. Had Drummers on 2 Lightnings over the years and have been very happy with them.
The only reason I went with the Jardine was it was marked way down. That'll teach me. : )

I dyno tuned and compared a stainless Drummer to the stock muffler on my built Uly last year, and it performed almost identically, but with more noise and without the valve. Sound was exemplary, but too loud for my tastes for daily commute. People say and compare slip ons to outperform the stock muffler, but most always it's a trade-off of significant mid range loss for very little gain up top. They usually aren't comparing to a retuned bike with the stock muffler, but rather to the OEM lean tune. I kept the stock exhaust on my bike with the built motor for this reason. I only changed now because I found a Micron full system, for which I'd been looking almost 2 years for.

I would have left the stock one on too but i just love the sound of Harley engines.
Not a fan of ear bleeding sound levels but I do like to hear them.
