Hello, Apparently the stock rear brake pads are obsolete at two of my local dealers who used to sell Buells. One (Hal's) was able to find two aftermarket options, said one was carbon fiber and the other ceramic, which I wasn't too confident about. So, what are my options? I finally got a new rear tire on it, then noticed the brake pads were getting thin. I could probably still run the current ones but figure I'd be wiser to get new ones (assuming I can find ones that will work). Thanks for any suggestions. I've been busy elsewhere and haven't been on this site much recently, but will track this thread or will bump the question to the quick board if necessary. Thanks again, Mike J |

Mike J, Look for EBC #FA251 pads - they're all over eBay starting at around $25 |

^^^ What Tigerman said! Hi Mike! Glad to see you're still rocking the S2. I just bought one this year to compliment my S3T and S1W. |

Thanks Tigerman. Hi Dennis, The S2 has been parked a few years but trying to get a few miles on it this year, just been busy with work and some family medical stuff. Looks like you have a tube frame trifecta going on. |

There are many sponsors of badweb now, both providers of commercial services, and consumers of them. Providers of commercial services that sponsor the board are welcomed and appreciated. Users of the board that also sponsor are even more welcomed and appreciated, and should be respected. |

I think the $39 a month plan is considered a forum sponsor and the lower amount is considered a forum supporter. |
