2006 BUELL ULYSSES XB12X WITH ONLY 7k MILES! Located in South East Michigan (Suburban Detroit area) This bike is the closest you will get to the awesome experience of riding a box-stock, unmolested Uly! Lots of extras included. Garage kept and babied its entire life. When I say "unmolested", I mean it is a completely box-stock Uly with only comfort/convenience bolt-ons added. Engine, transmission, primary, etc. cases have never been opened--no leaks! No EBR ECM, no aftermarket exhaust, no airbox mods (including aftermarket air filter), have ever been installed. Looks and rides like new. Ride as-is (everything works) or modify it to your liking. Bike is currently set up for 6'5" rider. Factory "tall" seat installed. Buell accessory "low" seat included. Both seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. With adjustable Madstad windshield (no tools needed for adjustment), the bike is easily set up for a shorter rider in seconds. New Maintenance Items: 1. New Michelin Pilot Road 4's Rear replaced at 5900 miles OEM D606 still on front (new front PR4 tire comes with the bike) 2. New AGM battery--5/2014 3. New Buell front engine mount isolator assembly--9/2013 Extras Include: 1. Tall Madstad windshield with fully adjustable--up-down/fore-aft--mounting bracketry (have original flyscreen and windscreen--in excellent condition) 2. HVMP bar end weights (black) 3. Precision Engineering 1" handbar risers 4. 5-0dro front/rear axle sliders 5. Buell underseat storage case 6. Buell saddlebag/top case liners 7. Buell spare drive belt (new) 8. Buell full comfort kit (includes already-installed underseat deflector) 9. Buell Factory Low Seat Yes, you can get all that for the low price of $4900! New premium tires! Needs nothing! This bike is priced to sell! If you want it for less, I can strip out some of the extras included in the package that you don't want/need. There is easily $1,000 worth of extras included with this bike (Madstad windshield and Buell bag liners are worth over $500 all by themselves). Contact George at 313-805-3194 from noon to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time for questions/info. |

Additional info: Bike comes with original 2 ignition keys and original 4 saddlebag/top case keys, all matching (any one of the 4 case keys opens all three case latches). Selling this bike because I have 2 bikes and 3 grade-school aged kids with demanding extra-curricular schedules, so this one doesn't get ridden much. Plus, need more room in the garage for my kids bicycles, as their bikes are getting bigger as they are. Saddlebag liners are barely used--look like new. |

SOLD! (Got $3500 for it) Stripped it down and traded it in towards a used Blue 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer (135 HP Triple--Factory: ABS/Cruise/Traction Control/Ride Modes/Shaft Drive/Single-Sided Swingarm/Side Cases & Soft Top Case/Heated Grips and Seat, etc.). Will have to offload a bunch of accessories now, but those should sell easily. I've heard many people say that when "throwing in" accessories on a motorcycle purchase, you don't get anything for them. They go for pennies on the dollar. Not so when sold separately. Yes, there's alot more work involved with selling accessories individually, but re-supplying my Paypal account with funds that I can then turn around and buy Tiger accessories is my motivation. Plus, I feel like I'm making some Buell owners' Uly experiences much better by providing some much-needed accessories to them that they can no longer purchase. My first 3-yr. adventure/touring-style motorcycle experiment with the '06 Uly has come to an end. I discovered that I do like the genre. It was time to upgrade. While I loved the Uly, it is primarily an open-road motorcycle, which there's nothing wrong with, but I do much more city riding than I do open road riding. Air-cooled motorcycles like lots of air. My riding environment unfortunately doesn't provide much of that. 98 degree/98% humidity days (like we had here in SE Michigan yesterday) feel like you're sitting on a blast furnace on top of the Uly in stop-and-go traffic (yes, I did have the full Comfort Kit installed). The water-cooled Tiger stays cool in any environment. Thanks a million for all the help from the BadWeb community. You guys (and gals) are awesome! Court--I replaced the engine isolator when I first bought the bike. It had a horrible vibration when I test rode it (bought it anyway, as I was 500 miles from home and somewhat "committed" to buying it). The BadWeb community helped diagnose the problem as a bad front engine isolator. Sure-enough, I had a bad one. |
