This is a stretch, but better than doing nothing. After too many years, I've finally sent two WP shocks to Racetek for repair. One is missing a rubber bumper that they don't think they can replace. Any ideas where to locate a replacement. Does anyone have a donor shock they know can't be repaired but just couldn't bring themselves to throw away? As a sidenote, they noted that the two are slightly different. I didn't realize there were differences. Any input why 1 might be better/nicer than the other? I suspect I'll be combining two shocks to get 1.

Have a look at some car suspension bump stops like this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131868696301?clk_rvr_id= 1063172963210&rmvSB=true And cut it at the correct length. |

Possibly some quality time at a lathe with a block of rubber used for exhaust system isolators/hangers. I found something I could use in a bin of car exhaust parts - standard bends, lengths of tubing, that sort of thing. Hope this helps, Dave |
