Hey everyone I have been contacting LAP aka EBR looking at possibly picking up a 2016 SX this year. I started riding back in 2008 and by the time I had learned about Buell and his history, Harley had closed the doors. So my only real experience so far was a Buell blast but I'm sure the 1190 is a completely different animal. |

Just picked this up a couple of days and am in love. Like a hog and panther mated. I'm in love with whatever this thing is that came out. Can't wait to change the butt box but otherwise like it. Thanks in advance for the answers to all the questions I know I will be asking. |

Hi all, I had been storing a 1998 S3 for my brother for years and I decided to get it running and take it for a spin. WHAT a KICK! I talked him into letting me buy it and have slowly been working on some sitting related issues, new rubber, carb clean and now fork seals. Having trouble finding replacement seals stateside. If anyone knows of a source and would like to share it I would be grateful. Looking forward to some fun riding. Nelly |

Hey, I love this site! I've owned 1998 M2 Cyclone #238 for fifteen years. The bike is black and has all the hard to find parts. Hard riding and required maintenance has saved my marriage without drugs or therapy! Yay! |

Hello all, Just got my first Buell. A yellow (orange) 2006 Uly, one owner, came with all service records and all service done at Harley dealer, not a scratch on it, 24k, came with panniers, for $2500. I drove 7 hours to pick it up based on a phone call and a few pictures and I just wanted to say thanks to all who have posted because it made a big impact on my decision to sell my DR650 and purchase a Buell Uly!

Just picked up my 2009 XB12R Firebolt last night. I've been drooling over buells for at least 10 years and finally decided it was time. Excited to be a part of the community. |

New member, just bought a 1998 S1 Lightning from a forum member. Just a few miles but I love it so far. Will probably be looking for advise and information on changing a few things... front fairing, mirrors, headers, air cleaner. I guess the best place for me would be the Old School section.

Hello Fellow Buellsters, I've been reading and enjoying the site and the information and of course the folks. I'm a new Buell owner who likes to have something to be working on. Tractors, old pickups, farm implements. I've never farmed, just started tinkering with old diesel engines and old pickups. Look forward to reading and hopefully won't new owner and member y'all to badly. Regards, Victor aka Torx |

Newbie from North Central Ohio. Ive wanted a buell s1 since i first saw one at the hd dealer back in 95. I came across a complete but non running, salvage title bike last week that was bought for a grand. Got her home and had it running in short order.

Looks familiar. Did that bike come from Southwestern Ohio, like the Dayton area? If so, I think I've ridden it. I'd have bought it for a grand also, and I don't even want an S1. Lord help me if I come across a 2000 or later M2 for a grand though. I don't know how I'll explain coming home with that. |

It was in Mansfield, from what i could tell the last two owners are from there. I found it on Craigslist saying someone swapped the engine with a sportster version, i ran the numbers on the case and frame which both come back to the bike so its the original s1 motor. It runs great, pulls hard but reallyneeds some love. Rear brake doesn't work, blinkers horn and taillight dont work, leaky fork seals, a oilleak (not bad) from the front of the engine. |
