I put the XB signals on my old s2. Thought they look much better, and were brighter than the original signals |

Both of my S2s have XB turn signals, they actually fit the flowing lines of the S2 better than the boxy originals. |

I feel the opposite. That square headlight makes me want the OEM signals. I have XB fronts now due to breakage and I hate em on there. Rears, especially with saddlebags that have the square indents...well, it's a round peg in a square hole. Eventually I'll find an OEM replacement, or I'll have someone CNC some stalks out of aluminum to hang the original signals on. |

Ratbuell, If you really have some stalks made up, count me in for a set. I have 3 or 4 good signal bodies with broken stalks. And I'm betting there are a lot of S2 owners with good body/bad stalks out there needing the same, plus I have seen the same turn signals with longer length stalks on eBay for Triumph Daytonas, so if there was a source for replacement stalks, people could restore their S2's to the right look again |

Yep a ton. After a while they just break. I would come home from a trip, go in thru the garage and the signals would be just hanging there. I would ask who bumped into the motorcycle. No one in the garage. AFter about 15 years, they break. I heard they were original guzzi signals? |

I just bought a couple of good 1995 Triumph Daytona rear signals on eBay. They're exactly the same except the stalk is about 3/8" longer (the fronts are about 1" longer) and the wires terminate in a plug instead of individual male snap-in connectors. They'll look OK, but we really need someone to replicate the OEM stalks with a 3-d printer - shouldn't be that tough |

I have a collection of them as well :-( I think you're spot on with the 3D printer. LAP had one with the EBR excess. I wonder if it's gone. DAve |

For comparison, here is the S2 unit on top and the Triumph Daytona REAR on the bottom.
Good news is there are a lot more of the Triumph units out there than S2 so a better chance at finding a good one. bad news is they're all 20+ years old so even the good ones have rubber stalks that are turning hard and brittle |

Sorry Ebutch, I have no idea - I just did an eBay search on "95 Triumph Daytona Turn Signals" (and filtered out all the usual aftermarket BS) - there are a couple out there now but the stalks are busted Need to find Triumph rear ones, the front ones have stalks that are much longer than the S2 |

Hey guys! Like pretty much everyone else, I found my garage queen S2's signals dangling by the wires. Luckily, I had one good unit (good stalk with a cracked lens) in my spare parts bin from 1996. I was able to use this to make a silicone mold to remake the stalks. If you have a good one, it's not difficult to recast the stalk with urethane rubber. I'm using Smooth-On PMC-790 to make a set of new ones for myself. I'm reusing the through-hole bolt, since I can't seem to find any suitable replacement. They hold fine in the new urethane. With the purchase of mixing cups, silicone mold material, urethane, coloring, and other supplies, I'm probably into it for $125-130 for a set of 4 (with enough extra material to mess up a few times along the way!)
