It's pleasing, and encouraging, to see on-the-ball dealers teaming up to fill in gaps and make the entire package damned attractive. Marketing should make me want to buy something I don't need. . . . say, like an 19th guitar . . . and the current efforts of a couple of these dealers has me spinning yarns in my head . . . with little munchkins saying . . "yeah, you NEED a 185RWHP bike". Bottom line is . . . EBR has made a damn good bike. It's as good as anything, any company, in the world offers. The dealers about not making a damn good deal. This is exciting. |

Judging from posts on Facebook and at ebrforum.com, sales of the leftover bikes are definitely picking up. |

It is my understanding that as long as the dealer signed up as a new 2016 EBR dealer, they were able to offer a 1 year warranty on any leftover 14’s and 15’s |

"It is my understanding that as long as the dealer signed up as a new 2016 EBR dealer, they were able to offer a 1 year warranty on any leftover 14’s and 15’s" If that's true, its a bit infuriating to us early adopters that got screwed out of warranty. |

Has your dealer signed back up? Call them and ask them if their customers warranty is still valid...I am sure in a perfect world EBR wouldn't leave anyone hanging, but the reality of the situation is that the old company is no more, and it is now a new company owned by LAP (Message edited by 86bgn on June 21, 2016) |

I'd be very surprised if you can't get some kind of warranty help . . if and when you have a problem. The folks at EBR are not stupid. |

>>>and yes Court "yeah, you NEED a 185RWHP bike". " I'm not ruling it out. I had. But Then I spoke to a couple old time "Elves" . . not quite my vintage but closing in. Their reports were similar . . they didn't thing they "needed" it . . . . but, bought an 1190 and are amazed and how it's made them better riders. While I'm not certain I need the power of have any need . . .ala the Fireman . . to go 200mph . . . I confess that, as a nerd, I am enthralled with the engineering of the current crop of 1190 products. They are elegantly engineered to do precisely what street riders want. It's exciting and, in all candor, there may a a couple bikes in that phylum but the EBR is as good as any motorcycle in the world. Period. |
