hey guys, my neutral is almost impossible to find all the time, to the point where I'm at a light I'm just sitting there clicking up and down to try and find it, but the light will turn green before my neutral light does lol, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks !

Clutch adjustment-BOTH the cable and the adjustment at the primary. If that doesn't work you may have a clutch ramp (adjuster) problem, or a primary cover malfunction.

Meggadeath, I think you are in the wrong board, these bikes don't have adjustable clutch cables, primarys, or even primary covers.

Nicksim123, when was the last time the oil was changed? What oil and weight? I've personally noticed that when it is due for a change that shifting becomes harder and it is more difficult to find neutral. Although I can't say it has ever been impossible to fine neutral.

These motors are notorious for not being able to hit neutral, but that issue goes away after a couple thousand miles.

My 1125R is easy to hit neutral(28k miles) but my 1190RS has just under one thousand and is still hard to hit while the motor is running.

froggy, I changed the oil a couple weeks ago, only have about 200 miles on the current oil and I'm using 20w-50 mobile 1, I pulled my neutral switch to check it out just make sure it's working properly and it seems to be doing its job, just incredibly hard to find the neutral I guess

zac4mac the bike has 8 thousand on it

easier to find neutral downshifting from 2nd for me...

try flushing/bleeding the clutch hydraulic system

I know this doesn't help the issue or answer the question, but, I don't recommend sitting at a stoplight in neutral.
That's a defenseless scenario that you can't get out of quickly if you need to.

i tend tend lightly press up on the shifter from first as i am slowing down. below about 12 mph, it pops into neutral pretty easily. otherwise it's a handful of clutch until the light changes.
