What would one even offer for an xbrr motor? I know I can afford 2k, but I have a gut feeling you will be asking more

It would be SO cool to de-tune that just a little (maybe milder cams and smaller throttle bodies?) and put it in an XB street bike. |

Did you get all the xbrr parts or just a motor? |

Cams and throttle bodies aren't the issue. The dinky crank 9,000 RPM limiter are the issue. Personally I would put in a balanced 08 XB9 crank, OE style charging system and primary cover, and 7mm valves/stems with Crane Conical springs and set the rev limiter down to 8,000. |

XBRR Bodywork? I would kill for a tail, or matter of fact, the whole body |

Phalan they had the larger 08+ crank pin. But there is a need to do some safety tuning. It also is different materials which will wear faster. It would have to be a pure show bike cause it probably wouldn't last a cross country trip & back unless you did severe short interval services |

^Jrobey7- I suspect he's talking about how the race crankshaft was drastically lightened: You might need most of the additional flywheel mass of a stock crank to make the thing idle at a reasonable speed. |
