Clean notorized title. Starts right up. Runs, drives. New Pirelli Diablos Custom machined rear pulley by purpony. Brakes recently rebuilt, both calipers with new pads, with updated front rotor. Polished triple trees and fork legs. Exhaust Y mount Forks rebuilt with OE seals and bushings I wound up buying an 1125CR, so this needs to be gone. |

Wow, a complete running M2 is not worth $1500? (Message edited by 34nineteen on June 05, 2016) (Message edited by 34nineteen on June 05, 2016) |

Ok, looks like it's probably going to get parted out after this weekend. No part will be over $100. Engine is already pending being sold. |

Someone already called dibs on it. Not sure if I'm going to part it yet, but I'll keep you in mind in case the other person changes their mind. |

I'm thinking about rattle-canning the rear tail to match the tank. I think the blue tail makes it look worse than it is. I just figured the next owner would rather have a good paint base to shoot over, rather than have to sand off a bunch of spray paint. I'm also thinking about parting it out. I've had much more interest in people wanting parts off of it. I have someone local who wants the engine, and $100 (or less) for the remainder of the parts. The $100 (each) parts would be: Carb -rebuilt with new slide Forks - rebuilt with OE seals and bushings Trees - polished includes dash piece Frame with clean AZ title and head lock keys. It is registered and insured as of today. Exhaust - KT modified with quiet muffler. Includes newish chrome flanges. No dents or rash, just sucky welding by wannabe welders. Shock - doesn't appear to be leaking, but seems to be okay. No guarantees. Front rotor - late 9 pin great shape. Front Brake - Caliper and master rebuilt with seals from American Sport Bike. HEL s/s hose. New pads Fuel tank- small tank, not Manta. Include petcock, new Pingel adapter and fuel cap. The rest would be less than $100/ea! NOT PARTING IT OUT - YET. WOULD RATHER SELL COMPLETE. I'LL POST UP THE PARTS IN THE "PARTS FOR SALE SECTION" IF I GO THAT ROUTE. (Message edited by 34nineteen on June 17, 2016) |

ARRGGGH! I can't stand this! If you were within a 7 hour drive from me I would pick it up in a heartbeat! Hate to see it parted... Rochester NY to Phoenix, sadly a bit more than that... How long could you hold it if I bought it? |

I get ya and I don't really want to part it, but I'm pretty much backed into a corner on this. It's a loooong expensive trip from NY to Phoenix and back. You're not going to fly out and ride this back. I watch that video I made from time to time and realize it's not a bad bike and I shouldn't be dumping it. Heck, if you within a 7 hour drive, I'd meet you halfway. If you really want it, PM me and we'll figure something out. I just want to be fair. (Message edited by 34nineteen on June 21, 2016) |

Shipping it would probably be six hundred. Some of the freight companies have even cheaper "last minute - fill the truck with something" rates. There's a web site dedicated to that - uship.com I've seen some scary good deals come up. |

I have the same problem as Swamp2, just checked, 40 hour drive each way (plus stops!), but damn it looks great in the second set of pics. With a shipping company it could still be under $2k, very tempting. Now if only the spouse would forget how many bikes I have... (Message edited by froggy on June 22, 2016) |

If a badwebber gives me $1300 this week, I'll throw in the polished alloy swingarm. When I showed it to the only person (who showed) from Craigslist, I had it parked at the angle shown in the new pics. I went to meet the person at the gate, and walking back to the bike at that angle I thought "damn, the bike looks really good. Do I really want to sell it?" Unfortunately, I think the low asking price is really only attracting the crowd (on Craigslist) looking for a cheap motorcycle regardless of what it is. It seems like most are only concerned with "what is it going to cost to get it back on the road" or "do you think I could ride it back home (a few hundred miles)". I'm trying to be straightforward and discourage it, but I think that's working against me. |

For those 1300 bucks ,You better keep it and riding it yourself! It looks a nice motorcycle as it is now. The black and blue isn't that bad together! |

I wish I could come up with a practical (cost effective) approach to getting it. So far it escapes me. With that said, I think unless you're really hard up for cash, I'd advise hanging on to it for a bit until you're really sure you've bonded with the CR. I have a CR and it's "better" by most objective criteria, but honestly I prefer riding my '00 modded X1 (big bore, race exhaust, ECM, etc). The CR is relatively highly strung. Great bike but for the little bit of $ you're looking to get for the M2, well I'd keep it just for the variety... I also have > 10 bikes, so I obviously have a hard time dealing objectively with this kind of issue. |

The CR is long gone. It was an awesome bike, but I wasn't able to bond with it. Unfortunately, I'm not really tight on money as I am on space, and patience. I'm also realizing that the bike has little value in the world, and the sensible side of me is saying to let it go, recoup some of my play money and stop f-ing around with projects. I'll be sad to see it go, but happy knowing it's going to a good home. The thought of parting it out is killing me. |

Spray the tail with plasti dip black that way it is not hurting the paint but will possibly show better. Seriously contemplating this bike but I am in Mn |
