I tried it once mixed in with the gas to help with some running issues, it didn't do a thing but it is likely because fuel wasn't the issue. Done right it won't hurt anything, I've seen other posts where it cleared up issues others experienced. |

It's a decent water absorber and fuel system cleaner, but its not some kind of miracle product. Like Froggy said, it is first and foremost harmless. It would be helpful if you had a lot of water in your gas. The fuel injected Buells, heck even the carburated tubers, are a lot less sensitive to fueling system spooging than any other bike I've owned. The Japanese obsession with multiple small carb's is a fools errand, it gives them marginally better performance in circumstances that rarely exist in the field (the first summer of riding a new bike). From then on, they are entropy bombs of complexity poking you in the eye at regular intervals. |

This is my take. I know others that swear by Sea Foam. I also know others that swear by Sta Bil. I tried Sta-Bil once and I did not like it. I have not used it since. I also do not use Sea Foam. If you believe in it go for it. I do believe that you can and will get water in your fuel at some point and I use Iso-Heat (or what ever you wish) in the red bottles, especially during the winter. I also dump a small amount in the bike and Jeep because they sit all winter and the tanks may get moisture. I try to keep the fuel tanks FULL even though they are in a heated garage. I am lucky that here in Wisconsin where I live the premium is ethanol free. |

I don't know if it was from crappy old fuel, and the bike sitting or if it was seafoam, but when I got my bike recently, the fuel pump was REALLY loud, I dumped a can of seafoam into the take with a fresh fill up and the fuel pump now two tanks later is quieting down. |

My experience with seafoam in carbs with small passages is that it was a game changer. I use it instead of stabil. Magic monkey juice is what it is. Not a bad concoction, but, pricey for what is in it. |
