I took this away from what Erik said- we won't likely see a hard-core adventure bike out of EBR any time soon, but we may see a variant of the 1190 that's closer to a City Cross or XB12XT in the near future. | ||

Erik gave away a LOT more than I think folks have picked up on . . . . maybe my read on him . . . after 30+ years is weak . . . but I REALLY liked that interview. I, now, have a pretty keen sense of what to expect the next 24 months. | ||

Clearly this is one of the paid astroturfers hired this year by The Pace to malign a podcast representing the finest high art. (And giggling. And jokes about Ducati umbrella girls in bounce houses. And other classic forms of adolescent humor. And general drunken carryingonness.) I've been listening since it started, and I've only had to turn it off twice. The Charlie Borman interview was funny also. I don't think Charlie ever quite got that he at his edgiest was less shocking than the normal WheelNerds episode. | ||

Erik gave away a LOT more than I think folks have picked up on I'll have to listen a third time. One of my favorite people (an engineer from Argentina) said that about reading books: only on the third reading does the author's true intent become apparent. | ||

We got a lot more mileage while I was riding the '06 Uly, which was plagued by some weird electrical issue. My '08s been solid (and boring show-wise). | ||

Chuck, I'll have to send an intro clip. After I replaced the secondary muffler on my EBR with stainless tips and IDS ECM, I fired it up. My 7 year old drawn to the music of the newly vocal 1190SX, comes running into the garage from the front yard to tell me that I'm scaring her! Yet she stands feet away held by the sound of the V twin. lol DAve | ||
