Are they not the same rectangular reflectors found on HD & Buells rear fenders? Foam backed adhesive?

Saddlebag reflectors - the last time I looked - were readily available and cheap.

Now if you want a humdinger related to S3 reflectors. Try an OE set of front fender reflectors for an early S3 (something like $20+ a piece), vs. the later model S3 reflector (less than $3 a piece.

But that's only a concern if you are worried about OE or an OE restoration...
