So everything SEEMS fine. However during acceleration this morning V-Twin light comes on briefly and cuts off. Any ideas why. 8k miles on the bike. |

Does it buck during acceleration? If so, check your battery terminals make sure they are tight. If you have a aftermarket exhaust, and the CEL turns on during acceleration, it could also be your air/fuel ratio that is causing the CEL to go off. You have bring it to a HD dealer and they can plug it into their diagnostic computer and tell you which code it's throwing. You will have a better idea on what to do. |

SO....it was actually the Oil light (sorry, new to my bike and was only occurring when I was accelerating) I'm going to open a new topic with the actually problem. |

That light comes on when you have low oil pressure. First things first, make sure you have enough oil. The most likely culprit for failure is the oil pump gears, they are known to prematurely wear out. Replacing them with the 2007 model pump parts will fix that. |
