No, Vortex is not making EBR sprockets, nor do they have plans to.
Per two phone calls by two people.

BUT...info to be related after some more verifying, that rear sprockets in various tooth counts (beside just the stock 41 tooth) may be available soon.

More to follow.

Sprockets (various tooth counts) are available thru On Track Power Sports (909 931-2448).

These are by the original EBR sprocket manufacturer.

I've got two 43 tooth on order.

Mike, did you ever get your new sprocket in/installed and if you did how do you like it?

Mike13 -

No sir. The ball got dropped, the person that was working with me moved on to better/different pastures.

I have heard of someone making EBR rear sprockets, just at this time, don't recall who.

part #821-xx where xx is number of teeth you want. Call Vortex directly.

Post from facebook, direct quote.

"I ordered a couple of rear sprockets from Vortex today. I called the contact number on their website 1 (800) 440-3559. I spoke with Kyle. The part number is 821-xx. XX is the number of teeth. 821-41 gets you a stock rear sprocket. We talked quite a while. I told him about rumors that Vortex was out of EBR sprockets and was not going to make any more. He told me to spread the word. He said they cut the sprockets to order in small batches. They do not have any plain silver colored 821-41's in stock right now, but they will cut a few more as soon as someone calls to place an order. They are not planning to discontinue these at any time. I got black colored sprockets. He said they will likely make some in various colors if demand for these continues. I also mentioned the front sprocket. I explained it is not simply cut from sheet. He still wanted to know specifics to pass along to others at Vortex. I sent him photos, exploded view of the hub assembly, and dimensions. Maybe someone will know a source for these. Jim Dugger, you might want to talk with him for your cush delete sprocket. He might be able to help."

Thanks for the info guys. Does any one that has changed out the rear sprocket have any feed back on if it is worth it for a mainly street ridden bike? I took my 1190rx out for the first time this weekend and noticed that it is definitely geared high. I've read that going to a 43t is about the limit for the stock chain and if going with a 44t+, it would be beneficial to go with a longer chain.

I have a 44 tooth Vortex and I used the stock chain. It's much more street friendly, but it wheelies super easy so be careful if you aren't into that.

I did use the IDS ECM and it is corrected for the 44 tooth. Without the correction it read 3rd gear twice.

Received my Vortex sprocket the other day. Did a search but could not find what the torque spec for the sprocket bolts are. Any one have it?

What diameter are they? There are tables of torque for each bolt diameter.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but there doesn't seem to be too much action in this section any way so...got my sprocket installed finally but, now my shift indicator shows 4th when I'm in 5th and 5th when I'm in 6th. I thought I read that the gear indications would be fine going up to a 43t but, would have to be reprogrammed for anything higher? Is this not correct? I have and IDS ECM set for stock gearing by the way.

That's how I understood it as well. You may want to drop Tim a line and ask.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the front sprocket. Can it be replaced by itself or does the whole assembly need to be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone on one of the EBR boards was looking into making a front sprocket. Don't recall what happened. Probably found it would be pretty expensive.
That's why I bought a couple right after the doors were closed..!

Its kind of hard to swallow the price of replacing the whole thing just for the sprocket. But I can say I really havent had any issues with the set up the way it is.
I do want to get one though just in case.I am going thru rear brakes like crazy though.

Does anyone know the part number for the front sprocket assembly. I want to order it but I'm confused as to what the part number is. I want the whole assembly, but on the parts list I don't know if it's item 2, transmission output sprocket, 16 tooth with needle bushing, or item 5, hub, transmission output sprocket with inner ring?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want the "whole assembly" then you'd need 2, 4, and 5:

Front Sprocket

Together they are a system, forming the "whole assembly".

However, what you'd "need" - which my crystal ball is broken - may be different...

Never having examined one close up, would it be possible to take a worn-out piece #2, machine the sprocket off of it, and drill and tap it to accept an off-the-shelf standard sprocket for some other bike?

I'm not really sure what to order.
I don't need any of it right now, but want to get the parts I need when the time comes.
I'm not sure what other parts will wear out besides the sprocket. So Wasn't sure if I had to replace everything, or just #2. I'm not real familiar with this set up.
But I also don't want to buy stuff I really don't need.
What would be the safe thing to do? Buy everything, or just #2, the output sprocket assembly. ?
Thanks for the help.

"Normally..." it's just the sprocket that wears out. The rubber cushions should last over 100,000 miles with just a little shrinkage/collapsing.
But...anything can happen..!

Mike

P.S. - Buy now while there is a 20% discount on all parts. The deal goes away the first of the new month.

That sounds logical. It would seem hard to believe they would have engineered it so we would have to spend like 300 dollars to replace a front sprocket.
I will order things tonight so I can save on some stuff.
While doing some searches I came across Motohub that sells EBR parts for close to what LAP is selling them for now. Though from the reviews I read about them, it seems a little sketchy. Anyway,
thanks for your help.
