Hello guys

I have S1, and I am missing few screws. The problem is, in my country we are using different threads so I cant find screws that fit anywhere here. Even local shops doesnt carry these types of screws.

So my question is. What thread are used on old tubers? Is it BSW (British Standard Whitworth)?
The only way for me is buy them from ebay, so I dont want to order them with hit&miss method.

Peter:

Can you show us which screws? They may be easier to find and describe if we know which ones.

They are all common . . just a matter of sorting the correct one.

For example, I need screw that holds front mudguard, one screw that holds plastic tail section on frame or even screw for leg heat guard on the right side of the bike.

Screws in my country are with different threads, they are not going all the way in.

Peter
Do not use the screws you have - these are american standard threads. They will be as an example 5/16"- 18 threads per inch. If you could pm me I do have a parts manual for the bike I could send you. Also if you dont want to use ebay I could help you out these are pretty common here and usually pennies to buy and on ebay alot if times you have to buy 10 at a time. Shipping should not be too bad? I have helped a few Buellers out over the pond!
Post pics of each area you need a screw for.

Most Frame screws are either 1/4 20 or 5/16" 18.

The Battery hold down nut is a 1/4 28 thread

Battery crew and a 6 mm x 10 metric

Control housing screws are metric, 4 mm I believe

Mirror thread are metric.

Good information posted above.
