Was checking out where I thought it should be, but it wasn't there. It looked like the cv40 carb on my dyna, but without the pump rod and the parts for the accelerator. Is that normal for a buell blast?

thanks for any info.

He's an imposter.

BTW, its very ez to bolt an accelerator pump onto the blast's carb. But dont try & buy the parts from the dealership, get a used carb from a swap meet & its a done deal.

True Dyna - however, the arguement against it is how fast those plastic parts wear out - change them with the oil - lol -

Could'nt give you an exact - I asked this question at several Buell groups by Yahoo, SACBORG, even here and that was the common consensus - I guess if you use an aftermarket metal version that several people recommended, but would not give links to it, would be a reliable go but the stocker style has its limitations - I've been told. Thats why I went with the Dial A Jet system instead - good for the last 3000 miles without a glitch - lol
