I need to get the surface rust off of my stock exhaust and repaint it. Anyone have any suggestions on best way to remove surface rust and what paint to use? |

I use my sand blasting cabinet and find that the tremclad high heat B Q paint works the best for me. All so I drilled 1/8 holes at the low points in the brackets so water can drain from there. |

The first time I used grill paint it worked ok until I got gas on it then tried exhaust header primer then flat black header paint worked great got it at Auto Zone about 4 yrs ago it was about $8 a can. Any veterans out there they give you a 10% off |
