Hi all! Been on the forum for a long long time - have been wanting a Buell since 2008 and finally pulled the trigger on one. Originally was wanting to get a XB12S, but this super low mileage XB12X was nearby and we struck a deal I couldn't pass up (traded my 2002 Audi A4 Quattro for it). It's a 2007 XB12X with only 2,700 miles! Super clean, unharmed (no evident drops/wrecks) and runs excellent! I just got it tagged and titled today and am looking forward to the weekend! I love the riding stance on it and am really excited about the versatility of it! Any other riders in the Huntsville, AL area?  | ||

congrats!and a belated welcome to the forum looks like a clean bike! I'd start looking to beg/borrow/steal the service manual and ECM spy if they didn't come with it. oh, and it'll handle even better with a new set of tires. looks like it still has the OEM front  | ||

Welcome to the real world and best wishes for enjoyment of your new buell. How many more of you lurkers are out there? Hmmmmm!check in new owners section and see what you find. Questions will come and there are lots of answers in this badweb. Only thing you need to do is get on the road and ride. I would check tires, belt etc as with that low mileage is cool but with 9 years of age, those could be compromised. Best wishes! | ||

On vacation at the moment and working on the FLTR. Finally figured out the dowel holes on the front head are in the wrong place and has the head rotated just enough that I can't get the intake to seal. Been fighting this for years! Anyway, May 31st is my last day at work. Good thing the Buell runs like a top! | ||

Nice looking 07'. My son has an 07' and for whatever reason it runs smoother than my 06'. 2700 miles, that's like brand new. | ||

Haha, brotherhood of the blue key! I wouldn't have known until now what that meant! now i have two of them  to which I also learned you shouldn't affix to your other keys and keychain when riding, marred those pristine forks a tiny bit.. i took it to Rocket City Harley a week ago for a full service.. i work on cars confidently, but did lay down my last bike; a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird, so wanted to give it a once over. Funny how the same dealership which I visited years ago with Buells in the showroom floor said they may have to order the filter, right? haha i've put a few hundred miles on it now, it's a super plush bike and i feel very confident on it. i like the height, even being 5'9". anyone else around N. Alabama? Thanks and happy to be able to join your club! I have always enjoyed the forum and happy to be a part of it |
