Anyone know where to find front brake rotor mounting hardware, preferably the updated EBR stuff. I contacted the company selling the EBR assets, and there are none available, though I did order a EBR rotor. Harley seems to only sell them with the rotor. Let me know if anyone has new hardware lying around... | ||

H1506.1B6 is the part number of the kit you want. The alternate number for the older kit is CQ0001.11AZ or CQ0001.02A8 although I don't know what the differences are on the older kits. | ||

According to EBR's site, H1506.1B6 is for 1190 series, and CQ0001.11AZ is for XB and 1125 series. CQ0001.11AZ is compatible with various rotors. If you look at pictures of the two kits, H1506.1B6 is missing a washer. I have no idea if the other parts are identical or not. Liquid asset partners told me a couple months ago that they may get more of the CQ0001.11AZ kit in, but so far I have not heard from them. I too am looking for this kit, I need two of them. | ||

I'm starting to do the same. I clean them up, use locktite and torque them to spec. Thanks | ||

That's the secret. They tell you to use new bolts because the new ones have fresh loctite on them and they don't want to be responsible for a bolt/screw falling out. I always reuse them but like you say, I clean them and use blue loctite. You can't really harm and steel screw that's going in aluminum. You'd strip it out before damaging the screw! | ||

I just did the rear pulley which also calls for new hardware. I used red Locktite but I think the blue would be good enough. | ||

I just ended up reusing the originals after cleaning and blue loctite. I contacted the company that is selling all the remaining EBR inventory. I briefly looked for the part numbers listed above, but didn't find them at Surdyke where I usually order OEM Parts. |
