Anyone seen this photo before? Just wondering if it's for real or some kind of photoshop sick joke?

I don't understand how you can control a bike with bars like that. |

Looking at the number plate (plus a few clues), I'd say far east, probably Thailand. |

Actually, I was thinking somewhere like Thailand, based on the plate and other cultural cues in the photo. Nice, direct path for the clutch cable. And Hoot, no, you can't control a bike with bars like that over about 35MPH, which is where the high speed wobble starts. |

Hope he never accidentally pulls the front end up and has to hang on. I test rode a bike with apes on it (much shorter though) for a friend of mine that didn't ride (yet) but wanted to buy a bike. Scared the crap out of me. I had, not nightmares, but dreams about not being in control of my bike. What a horrible experience. I don't understand why people do this. |

The Brits call them Sit-Up & Beg-Handlebars. Or American version :Hands-Up Don't Shoot (Message edited by ebutch on April 15, 2016) (Message edited by ebutch on April 15, 2016) |

Well i think you really have to go to Thialand to understand. Anyone here know the price of a new Harley in Thailand? also i have drag raced against a guy on a soft ail springer, with real high Apes & he ran high 11's quarter mile just an 80 cubic inch EVO, i road up coast road ( very twisty ) hilly narrow back road & he handled that at sport bike speeds, even though i don't like it & it looks wrong but you could get a shock trying to keep up with that guy. look at that X1 all you would need to do to make it stock would be take the water buffalo horns & apes off put stock bars on, but that XB they have some custom shops in Thailand that do some top custom work & make everything there self. also i think you can do what you want over there no one seems to care. |

The yellow bike with flames I saw running down highway south of INdy to the Boogie 2009 or 2010. going about 65mph. Life gets boring sometimes and people do drugs and stuff to change it. This was just a worse thing to do. Dont do this. |

..that yellow one with flames looks like a mobile chiropractor's table on wheels.....or a modern version of the mid evil version of being chained and shackeled to a wall and left to free hang.......(/ |
