Too bad he torpedoed his career this year in Daytona Beach. Looks like he got a second chance: http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/suspension-lif ted-danny-eslick-will-race-in-motoamerica-event-at -cota/ |

LAP has been trying to sell a brand new 2015 1190SX on e-bay now for a week for only $10,200 and no takers???? http://www.ebay.com/itm/222076161238 |

These guys sell motorcycles directly to customers. http://www.cscmotorcycles.com/Default.asp They are under the radar & quietly building a loyal following. |

Tpoppa, CSC is the dealer for those bikes. They are actually a Zongshen not a CSC. Those are made in China so you are not buying direct from the company. You are buying from the dealer which is CSC. "CSC of Azusa, California, slots into the supply chain as Zongshen’s exclusive importer for all of North America, which surprisingly still includes Canada" (Message edited by buelliedan on April 11, 2016) |

And for $3,500 you are getting a LOT of motorcycle. I have seriously considered getting one of those (Message edited by buelliedan on April 11, 2016) |

Not that I'm buying one but I'm happy to say that I have clarification on the Warranty issue that I raised earlier. I wrote to CSC today and here is their prompt response: All our bikes have a warranty. RX3 has 2 year TT 250 has 1 year We also sell extended warranty if you are interested. |

This thread went from EBR RESTARTS production to cheap Chinese bikes. |

Thats fine Jim, at least you can buy a cheap Chinese bike, whereas no one is selling all these new EBRs being built. |

Rather than buy a cheap Chinese bike, I'd prefer to wait and buy a great American motorcycle. |

"Rather than buy a cheap Chinese bike, I'd prefer to wait and buy a great American motorcycle." Why are you waiting? You can buy one now. LAP is selling a brand new 2015 1190SX for only $10,200 on e-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/222076161238 The only difference between that bike and a 2016 is there is no warranty but you can buy a warranty from a 3rd party for around $600. So here is the chance to save about $2,500 and get the same bike without having to wait as well!! |

Now if you meant you are waiting for the EBR AX then I suggest you take that up with EBR. (Message edited by buelliedan on April 12, 2016) |

I don't know what the actual situation is but "One of hundreds available" doesn't create much of a sense of urgency in the ad copy for eBay. |

Will be interesting to see if they lower the price, and if so how much? At what point would they be at the I can't pass it up price? 7-8k for a SX for me. (Message edited by Zhen13 on April 12, 2016) (Message edited by Zhen13 on April 12, 2016) |

@Dan Not suggesting that they will get that low. Was just thinking out loud at what price would I not pass one up. With the current MSRP on the "new" bike (when they become available) to spend 10-11k on an "old" model when you can get a "new" model for a couple more grand doesn't make sense to me. |

It makes perfect sense to me to save $3,000 for a brand new 2015 vs buying a 2016 since they are exactly the same bike. You can get a 2015 for 10k or a 2016 for 13k. |

Right but one has a warranty, one does not. Somebody mentioned they are available for $600.00 from a third party. And my only other consideration would be resale. I assume the blue book on the "new" is going to be a couple grand higher then the "old". (The whole reason I put the quotes on new and old, was because I realize they are exactly the same bike) Not that I personally would be looking to resell the bike anytime soon. But shit happens and you never know when you might need money. Forgot to mention also in my mind a 3rd party extenended warranty type is no comparison to a factory Warranty, backed by dealers. You might ask folks who bought a 2014 EBR how well that factory warranty has worked out for them. (Message edited by buelliedan on April 12, 2016) |

You got a point there(grow your hair long and nobody will notice) I can't argue with that and that's probably why there is some trepidation buying one at any high dollar price. I know there is for me. I hope these are the types of reasons that people are holding off on these 2015s otherwise things don't bode to well for EBR or LAP especially if they have a hundred plus 2015 bikes to unload. |

"backed by dealers." which dealers? As for Crustys post earlier - they are out there, go pick up an EBR today and have a fine piece of American machinery. |

As Court pointed out, what happened to the couple hundred completed new bikes in inventory? IIRC, GE Capital was "flooring" them... Does GE Capital have them? Or have they been "disappeared"? |

Hey, if you want a real special EBR, buy Dan's 2012RS Carbon for only 25k. Just a few grand over an MSRP RX and a much finer beast. Then again, please don't. I like being able to look at 2 of them every day and even ride one every now and then..

If I ever get the cash I'm buying an SX. I own 5 Buell XB's. All bought used with no warrantee's, so that's not a concern to me. Hell I don't even want anyone wrenching on my bikes other than myself. I'm more concerned about parts down the road...the same problem I'm facing now with the XB's. |

Who buys a motorcycle thinking about resale?? Seriously. If you're thinking of a motorcycle as an investment...you need a new hobby, and a new financial advisor. |
