Pic from the factory last week; this is just some of the "surplus stuff for sale by LAP:
I don't see any of the surplus bike parts on the lists available from LAP, but pics posted to FB by people who were there show forks, shocks, engines, bodywork, etc. call or e-mail LAP for info. |

Well that's interesting......... If they are the Showa BPF units, then it's either a) they aren't producing any more bikes than the work in progress, and these are excess (which doesn't bode well for the future) b) they are going to change to a different fork c) ?? wish they worked on the 1125R w/out a new front wheel...... I looked up the part numbered; those are Buell, not EBR forks. |

They had wheels but a little too spendy for me at 600 each. Almost bought a carbon fiber tail piece but they wouldn't come down on the price. It had some cosmetic issues. Someone said the wheels were magnesium, I didn't look that close after I saw the price. |

Judging from the photos, a lot of the stuff must be from the racing program. Wheels, fork legs (with sponsors decals on many), etc. The 1125 forks in the photo above appear to be brand new. I wonder how they escaped the dumpster back in 2010? |

Yea, the date on the case of forks is interesting. Other photos show a lot of older/used forks; those are the ones I'm guessing are from the racing program. |

The part number is also marked off the box sticker. My guess, they were placed in a box that was available just for storage purposes. |

These are new CR forks. I talked to Patrick today to secure a set for me. Gotta find someone local though to use for pickup and shipping though; they don't bother with shipping. |

$600 sounds pretty expensive--I picked up a take-off set from a Ronin for much less than that a few years back. But, I guess if you need 'em, it's not a terrible price. |

I got them a bit less than that, but I don't know if he wants me to advertise the price. I also got a package deal. These are brand new forks that retail around $700 for the pair. |
