Those Aerostich suits are pretty heavy. |

I got one of those new lightweight Roadcrafters as a gift last fall, it is so much lighter and more flexible than my old one that it makes my old one feel like some kind of medieval knight armor. But to counter that I've been eating like a pig as of late, so I'm not as aerodynamic as I used to be. The Uly seat still sucks though. |

Froggy used to be 4'2", 62 pounds, and when he stood sideways the wind would not bother to hit him. I gave him a bit of room for aging. |

"The Uly seat still sucks though". I found the low gel seat to be un-comfortable but the low (non gel type) seat on my 10 bike is very good but it does need about 10k miles to break it in. In comparison to other bikes I have had I would say it is as good or better than most. Just me though. |

Froggy has always hated his Uly. He used to post frequent pictures of it on it's side. I think he was going to set it on fire one time but he wasn't allowed to have matches then. The Uly seat still sucks though. That is one of the nicest complements he has given his Uly. |

He does really hate his Uly! But then again when he brought his girlfriend to the West Virginia Buell Rally he was riding it! I have an 06 and the tall seat with seams was not comfy after just a little while in the saddle. I finally bought the 2010 tall seat without the seams and it's much better. I need all the leg room I can get! |

She hates the Uly too, she calls it the family truckster. I got it as I thought it would be more comfortable for her than my 1125CR, but turns out nope, she finds the wheelie machine to be more comfortable, and she really likes the "buzz" she feels at the cruising RPM. I've tried all the low seats for the Uly, they all aren't great. I don't have the inseam to get away with a tall seat. |

The low seats are all sloped forward, shoving the boys into the airbox. Perhaps something aftermarket? I love my Big Bird - it's my Swiss Army Bike, it does it all! (but...I have the inseam for the tall seat....) |

"The low seats are all sloped forward, shoving the boys into the airbox". I can not say that I found this myself, with a good suspension setup, for normal riding. You will, of course, always be "thrown forward" under braking on any bike. I am a heavy weight Guy but if your lighter a better balance on the rear pre load should help and will make for a better ride as well. I have no issues with the low seat and find it "on par" with most modern bike seats. Saying that it is no "iron butt" seat so do not expect a 10 hour day on it. |

The stock high seat is perfect for me and my wife loves the passenger area. First bike I've own where she actually asks to go for rides with me.
