I watched the race on Fanchoice.tv and enjoyed it a lot. Michael Barnes and Geoff May were the real deal today, but 47 year old Barnes was on a mission, passing folks like they were standing still. Former Buell and EBR road racers always hold a special place in my heart, even when they don't get to race... |

Couldn't have been won by a nicer guy. It would have been fun to see Geoff (the surgeon) and Danny (the wildman) going toe to toe... But we kinda did I suppose, and the surgeon won by being an under control grown up before they even took the grid... |

I had the pleasure of being on Barney's pit crew for the 200, I was working the rear stand and doing the rear wheel changes with Sean Prieto who did the rear axle. Both our pit stops went really well, we did practice a lot the evening before to try and make sure it all went smoothly. The whole deal was only put together a few weeks before the event. Barney called me to see if I'd like to help only a week before the race! The emotions after the race were amazing, a lot of tears of joy were shed. We all have great memories from a great race.
