i guess anything less than $80 could be considered a 'deal' https://shop.newcastlehd.com/part/n01611amc and ebay has them for $94 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Buell-Left-Mirror- W-LED-All-08-10-1125R-Models-N0161-1AMC-L19A-/2623 13142063?hash=item3d1314e72f:g:n3AAAOSw14xWQ7bW&vx p=mtr i wouldn't hold my breath for another set to pop up on here in the classifieds but i hope you can find a set |

$50 for an OEM mirror/signal isn't affordable? For an out-of-production orphaned motorcycle at that? I'd say grab 'em when you find 'em, it's not like they're making any more. I have been, especially since I run CR mirrors on my CR, Ulysses, S1W, and M2... |

yeah, don't want to seem like an idiot, i assumed alot of these bikes were put into track duty and mirror/turns were binned. thanks for input. i was indicating the $50 for a pair was a deal i had missed on and was wondering if any others might be out there if i rattled the cage a little |

There are problems finding these mirrors and they are different between the '08 and '09 mirrors. The '08 mirror has a weaker position lock than the '09, where the '08 will move on their own with air pressure and speed. Although the '09s are better, both have the issue where the only view is your shoulder. The after market mirrors that I have tested (two, both from China) also have the same viewage issue and their quality is not as good as the OEM mirrors. The right answer is a camera, but I have yet to find a working setup. |

I've seen a working rear view video setup on a '08 1125 here in Santa Cruz. The guy got a camera and display through Amazon. All for under $50. He said hardest part for him was routing the coax so it was hidden and wouldn't get overheated. Seems like a Bluetooth camera could be used with a smart phone mounted under the windscreen. |

For the position lock I would recommend replacing the rivet with a 5/16" bolt with nylock nut. On any year 1125R mirror. |
