Evening gents. Quick question: Is there an archive here on Badweb featuring add copy from Buell sales brochures over the years? Specifically looking for images from the X1 years that featured a guy riding wheelies in a grocery store with his shopping cart. Anyone remember those? tia, L |

I just dug through my old stuff...don't have that image, but my guess would be it's an '01 publication since the '01 accessories catalog was a grocery theme. In case that helps narrow your search any |

I have all the ad campaign info. Don't recall any such ad. |

Above is something I found online from an eBay ad. It isn't exactly what I remember from the past. What I remember was a landscape orientation of the advertising material. I thought it might be from the 2001 brochure, but it would be a couple of weeks until I can access them and search. Maybe it was just for the Blast!? Or was it some accessory literature? I know I've seen it (better than the above), and I think I do have it somewhere... 1313 |

One of my favorite years was 1997 and the "Pray for Pavement" campaign. I was contracted and working with the folks at the Laughlin Constable agency. They were sending me some place every weekend to ride Buells and spread the word. Fun stuff. |

Thanks Dave and 1313, that's the one I was looking for. How can you forget a motorcycle sales brochure like that?

If those 3 pages are all one brochure, I do have it. I remember the boot photo. But I mis-read the OP and was looking for an X1 doing a wheelie in a store. Whoops. And it is the same as the 01 accessories book I have with the grocery theme. |
